Emmi & Luke's wedding is a stylish affair. Emmi wore a wedding dress made from recycled bottles and accessorised it with a pearl handbag, sparkly shoes, and cool sunglasses. Every decision this couple made was all about them and their personalities. There was an epic retro cake, a huge colourful flower cloud, and the sparkliest green bridesmaid dresses you've ever seen. Since having Covid, Luke hasn't drunk alcohol, so he created a low-alcohol bar. The couple decided to have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at their wedding.
Alice & Ian had been together for almost 15 years before they tied the knot. Their day at Recommended venue, Dewsall Court, is shining with love. Quite literally, because those golden hour wedding portraits are out of this world. The couple both look lit from within. Alice & Ian chose burgundy satin bridesmaid dresses which added richness to their romantic day.
Brittany & Nick's wedding at Recommended venue, Elmore Court, perfectly combines elegance and simplicity! An Emma Beaumont wedding dress, a blush rose bouquet with pampas grass and light pink bridesmaid dresses made for a totally amazing day! The traditional meets modern ceremony with a string quartet was followed by a long drinks reception in the beautiful gardens and lawn games. To end the love-fuelled day was a cosy evening around the fire pit. Now that sounds like our kind of wedding!
Sedge & Daniel's wedding day at Recommended venue, Iscoyd Park, was unique in many ways. We've seen some incredible gowns before, but this floral wedding dress may have just taken the cake. It's embroidered. It has mesh sleeves. And it has a train fit for royalty. So obsessed is an understatement. Sedge & Daniel also had a beautiful interfaith Jewish ceremony. One of our other favourite details from this wedding was that the couple gave each of their guests a personalised poem. What a unique wedding favour! All of this day was captured by Recommended supplier, Emma Ryan Photography.
Nada & Macarios married in a Coptic Orthodox wedding ceremony at the incredible Syon Park. Being an interior architect, Nada decided upon bold colour combinations and told suppliers they wanted it to look as though a meadow had exploded all over their venue! Well, we’re loving it. This is a wedding that truly proves you can showcase your personality and who you are as a couple. Those mismatched bridesmaid dresses are everything!
Kathryn & Joel's winter wedding is full of festive magic. With both the bride and groom being book editors, this Oxfordshire wedding venue helped create an old-world library vibe. The stationery was inspired by old books and the menu had a ‘beginning’, ‘middle’ and an ‘end’ (rather than the usual course names). It's all in the details. To keep her warm on the chilly November evening, Kathryn wore a faux fur cover-up over her lace wedding dress. Recommended supplier, Poppy Carter Portraits, captured this winter wedding.
Holly & Jordan were written in the stars and had a magical wedding at Recommended venue, Preston Court. With a celestial wedding cake and limoncello favours to represent moments in their relationship, plus not one, but two incredible boho wedding dresses, this day is worthy of featuring in our 50k-60k wedding roundup! Their outdoor ceremony was framed by incredible vibrant flower column arrangements with pampas grass and, of course, that amazing carousel was where the couple chose to deliver their speeches! All of this was captured by Recommended supplier, Epic Love Story.
Hannah & Benjamin's destination wedding in France was also captured by the incredible Recommended supplier, Epic Love Story. Hannah's fierce bridal look in a feather wedding dress and boots combined with the black bridesmaid dresses makes for an unforgettable bridal party. From the pampas grass arrangements (the best choice for a destination wedding) and the black tie dress code, this wedding screams sophistication.
Rebecca & Fred had an Irish wedding in Dublin at Rebecca's family home! There was a boho botanical vibe to this day with a traditional church ceremony followed by a beautiful marquee reception. Rebecca tried on several wedding dresses before deciding an alternative bridal look suited her better. Opting for an Indian bridal coat inspired by her travels to India with chic satin trousers for the wedding reception outfit, Rebecca blew us away.
Madeline & Domhnall also had an Irish wedding. There must be something about Ireland that encourages incredible alternative bridal looks because Madeline wore a colourful wedding dress in a subtle grey-blue shade. Despite being non-traditional with the wedding dress, the vibe of the couple's wedding overall was traditional and included a lot of Irish ceremony traditions from the handfasting and ring warming. The couple embraced it all.
Sarah & Dan's wedding truly looks like something from an enchanted meadow. The couple had an epic floral moongate and purple wildflowers decorating the aisle for their outdoor ceremony. Sarah & Dan had a marquee wedding reception with a wedding band, epic iced wedding cake, and rustic wedding signage. With all of this, it was an obvious pick for our 50k-60k wedding roundup as it was all captured by Recommended supplier, Stu Ganderton Photography!
Ammarah & Subhan's wedding is full of a neutral and muted tone colour palette, which is giving us all those luxurious vibes. Their garden wedding was intimate and filled with love, complete with macaroons for favours and florals throughout the marquee. We absolutely love how fresh and delicate this day looks - a stunning day for a stunning couple. Ammarah completed her bridal look with traditional gold jewellery for the Nikah ceremony.
