When Alice & Alex envisioned their wedding at Recommended Venue, Elmore Court, they knew they wanted a day filled with love, laughter, and personal touches. Along with their ultimate VIP guest: their eight-month-old son, Freddie, who made the day even more meaningful and, let’s be honest, a whole lot cuter.
We couldn’t think of a more perfect love story to share this Mother’s Day than Alice and Alex’s wedding, a day where motherhood and matrimony beautifully intertwined. As a celebration of mums doing it all (and looking fabulous while they’re at it), Alice’s story as a new mum and glowing bride is the ultimate reminder that love multiplies, even when you’re breastfeeding between speeches. From the moment Alice walked down the aisle (flawlessly, might we add, after doing her own makeup like a total pro) to the last dance of the evening, the day was bursting with joy.
Their transport for the day was none other than Alice’s dad’s vintage car because when it comes to sentimentality, these two know how to do it right. The car, the dress, the flowers...every little detail was infused with personal meaning, making the celebration feel like a true reflection of their love story.
Family-oriented Elmore Court wedding with blush pink details
Our photographer, Sian, was absolutely incredible and truly stole the show. From start to finish, she went above and beyond, capturing every moment beautifully and making everyone feel so at ease.
Alice & Alex
A Wedding With a Side of Parenthood
Blush pink was the colour of the day, setting the perfect modern, romantic, and fun tone for the celebrations. From the carefully curated decor to the beautifully designed stationery (courtesy of one of Alice’s best friends), every detail felt personal and heartfelt.
But let’s talk about one of the standout moments, the wedding breakfast, or as some might call it, the ultimate family meal. Alice & Alex sat at their table with Freddie snugly between them; the little guy had already ditched his tiny suit for a more relaxed tracksuit vibe. Because let’s face it, even the most dapper eight-month-olds know when it’s time to kick back.
Love-Filled Celebrations at Elmore Court
Weddings are often described as a whirlwind, but for Alice & Alex, this whirlwind came with milk breaks and baby giggles. Alice embraced every part of her journey, proving that being a new mum and a bride are not mutually exclusive. You can, in fact, juggle a bouquet in one hand and a baby in the other.
With the words of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 echoing in their hearts, love that is patient and kind, love that protects, trusts, and never fails—Alice & Alex walked into marriage with the most important thing already in place: a foundation of love, laughter, and one very stylish little wedding guest.
Finding The Wedding Dress
Alice found her wedding dress while 8 months pregnant after a year of searching! Alice was inspired by the stunning wedding dress worn by Hailey Bieber and was determined to find something off the shoulder, too. "When I came across the Milla Nova Montanna dress, I instantly knew it was the one. However, when I tried it on at 8 months pregnant, I couldn’t even get it zipped up!" Thankfully, it all came together perfectly on the day, and Alice looked like a total vision in this beautiful gown.
