We've seen some incredible gowns before, but this Victoria Sanders wedding dress may have just taken the cake. She's embroidered. She has mesh sleeves. And she has a train fit for royalty. She is also from talented Recommended supplier Victoria Sanders who we simply couldn't be more in awe of! In short, she's a stunner and we're, like, a bit obsessed... So, there was another main event apart from *that* gown, and that was of course Sedge and Daniel's beautiful interfaith ceremony. Filled with joy from beginning to end at Recommended venue Iscoyd Park, they were a real vision of happiness! All the love was captured by Recommended photographer Emma Ryan and oh boy did she snap every last detail.
We got married at Iscoyd Park, five minutes from where Sedge grew up. Our whole focus was making sure that people had fun, that it felt personalised and that it was a party! The theme was orange. A quote from the grooms speech, 'When I think orange, I think Easyjet - when Sedge thinks orange... she thinks Veuve!' We started with orange, and the dress - everything else tied back to that.
Sedge & Daniel
One of our favourite details from this wedding was Sedge and Daniel giving each of their guests a personalised poem. Although that sounds like *a lot* of late nights chewing the end of your pencil and trying to rhyme 'Aunt Bethel' with something complimentary, they actually used a personalised poem company. Yes, it's a thing. And comes highly recommended by the bride, the groom and all of their guests who went nuts for it! Another favourite detail was Sedge and her bridesmaids wearing white Nike Air Max's which was really serving with her Victoria Sanders wedding dress. Consider the bridal shoe game nailed. Sedge, we applaud you.
Jaw-dropping embroidered wedding gown. Discuss. (20 Marks)... just kidding. However, we could definitely get a short essay in on this one, and we're pretty sure we'd ace it! Sedge found Victoria on Instagram and in her words; stalked and stalked, then slid into her IG DMS. How all good relationships start!. And we have to say, this is a relationship we're glad came about (No shade Daniel...). The dress was very personal as it had thistles sewn into the dress to honour Sedge's strong Scottish Grannie. Unsurprisingly, the Victoria Sanders wedding dress was a hit amongst their guests. The phrase 'stole the show' comes to mind...
In a Jewish ceremony, there are seven Hebrew blessings - we put a personal spin on this and had seven readings from our friends and family around those key words such as 'home, happiness'. Our favourite moment of the day was the first dance song! Guns and Roses - Sweet Child O Mine... the dance floor was jam packed the rest of the night.
Sedge & Daniel
The Victoria Sanders wedding dress was a hit. The personalised poems were a hit. The photos were, in our humble opinion, an absolute hit.
