When an Emma Beaumont Design is involved… you know it’s going to be good! Nada & Macarios were married in a Coptic Orthodox wedding ceremony at the incredible Syon Park. Being an interior architect, Nada decided upon bold colour combinations and told suppliers they wanted it to look as though a meadow had exploded all over their venue! Well, we’re loving it. This is a wedding that truly proves you can showcase your personality and who you are as a couple. We absolutely adore the carefully curated layering of different tones of colour and textures throughout. With their stationery provided by Recommended Supplier, Papier, and a tablescape straight out of an editorial, we’re unsure whether we can even pinpoint a favourite from this gloriously colourful day… let’s see if you can!
We are not your average couple- so it didn't really feel right to have a classic white wedding when deep down. We're both a bit bonkers! Above all, Macci and I wanted something fun, vibrant, playful and whimsical that would also stand the test of time in photos.
Nada & Macarios
Nada & Macarios were extremely lucky to have found suppliers who truly believed in their vision and brought it to life! They did a lot of shopping around and research to ensure they found the right people. It was important to them that they cared about their work and loved what they do. They also tried to opt for smaller businesses, which is a fantastic way to support people more local to you or your venue. They each added a new and brilliant dimension to their day and quite obviously, they worked fabulously together!
Nada started her baking business three years ago and so the idea of someone else baking her wedding cake was definitely a big no-no! She happened to be baking for two days until 2am the day before the wedding. Between both herself and her husband, they designed the flavour combination together (featuring all their faves), and decoration ideas from all the cakes she’s made throughout the years. If you're looking for a little wedding cake inspiration, then don't worry, we've got an entire design guide!
Every part of the day delighted us and excited us. I suppose it's the overarching feeling of being surrounded by everyone we loved. We really made sure to be in the moment- to be present., constantly aware that these are the memories that will last our lifetime- and we wanted to savour every minute.
