How absolutely glorious is this Pakistani Nikah ceremony? We are just obsessing over the muted tones of Ammarah’s white & pink bridal outfit, which looks perfect beside her husbands equally incredible gold shawl. Their garden wedding was intimate and filled with love, complete with Laduree macaroons for favours and florals throughout the marquee. We absolutely love how fresh and delicate this day looks - a stunning day for a stunning couple.

My wedding was at home and I used my neighbours back garden. Very far from Heaton House Farm which is where I had planned it to be but looking back I wouldn’t have had it any other way. The unique sentiment, sense of familiarity and unquestionable charm made it an unforgettable day.

FAVOURITE MOMENT

Walking down the aisle in the garden with my dad and seeing my husband at the other end of the marquee waiting for me and being surrounded by our nearest and dearest. I remember feeling so lucky to have so many people who love and support us. In that moment we also felt the void of those loved ones who were unable to join us on the day.

ADVICE

There are always things (big and small) which may not go to plan. Maybe not as many things as in 2020, but still! Just embrace and enjoy every moment of wedding planning and try not to stress too much. No matter how your big day goes you will love and enjoy it regardless. You will cherish the memories you make for a lifetime.

I adored my outfit, I felt like a princess. It was exactly how we had designed it to be! My favourite part was the dupatta (scarf). Made from a combination of blush organza and chiffon, finished with intricate silver/gold and pearl embroidery. A beautiful piece - if I do say so myself!
