Dewsall Court

We had an amazing weekend celebrating our wedding at Dewsall Court. So many of our guests remarked on the beautiful setting, faultless hospitality, and delicious food and drinks and we couldn't agree more. Dewsall is such an idyllic venue, and having the house, gardens, wainhouse and church all on the same site meant our weekend felt so effortless and created a really special environment for us, our family and friends. Emma and Molly are a complete dream team! Emma was amazing and she guided us through the planning process making it fun, enjoyable and easy, and we genuinely always looked forward to our planning meetings with her. She was across all of the details and was always on hand to help and offer advice. On the big day she did an incredible job at keeping everything running to plan whilst always smiling! Molly was equally as amazing at managing all things catering, she was full of ideas and very accomodating to our requests which made it feel like a really bespoke experience. The food was so delicious throughout the entire weekend - and we still talk about the tasting evening as one of our highlights in the planning process! We can't thank the wider Dewsall team enough - Rosie, Henry, Jenny, and all of the house, bar and catering staff (and not forgetting Tim the dog). Nothing was ever too much trouble and we had full confidence that we could relax and enjoy ourselves. The house itself was such a treat, it's homely and comfortable whilst also feeling luxurious - so much so that none of our house guests wanted to leave!

1. You- Rosie, you have been a delight to work with from the off. You kept us in line and on track at all points (which we needed and appreciated). We felt in the loop at all stages and genuinely in the run up to the wedding felt total peace and chill (aside from the nerves) because we knew you had absolutely everything we could think of in order. You are so relaxed and friendly whilst simultaneously being on top of everything and totally organised- I do not know how you do it! We had so much feedback about your coordination over the weekend and how you couldn't do enough for everyone/ had everything in line which is so true. Thank you for making everything easy and for running the weekend so perfectly that Ollie and I didn't need to think of a thing. 2. Tom and the *food* - thank you Tom, you were again brilliant to deal with and patient with us in our choices and changes. The food was absolutely outstanding the whole weekend, from the house breakfasts to the wedding breakfast. We had compliments from everyone. That sticky toffee pudding will live rent free in my head forever and I wish I could eat it again . Ollie and I thought the food couldn't possibly match the tasting since you would be cooking it en masse but wow- we were so wrong. You exceeded all expectations and it was truly the best food we have ever eaten at a wedding (and I'm not just saying that!). Your patience in accommodating dietaries (particularly mine!) was amazing, and I appreciate all the extra effort you went to to make it happen. 3. Fiona and all Dewsall staff- every person we had the pleasure of meeting at Dewsall were beyond brilliant. Fiona is an angel in disguise and couldn't have been more wonderful with us and our families/ friends in the house over the weekend. There are not enough thanks to you all for providing us with the best weekend of our lives! I cannot believe it but genuinely everything was absolutely perfect and we wouldn't have changed a thing. That was all thanks to you guys. Dewsall is the most perfect, enchanting venue - it has everything and more. I'm so glad we chose it / you to host our special day. Hi Tom, Hannah and Molly, Firstly, sorry it has taken us so long to send this email but we wanted to make sure we could articulate our day properly and thank each of you. We fell in love with Dewsall from our very first visit back in February 2022 and from that day yourselves and your team at Dewsall have been nothing less than incredible. Thank you so much for all of your support and guidance in the lead up to the wedding and for helping bring our vision to life. You were always on hand and only ever an email away. Thank you for always responding so quickly, it certainly helped with the nerves leading up to the day. On arrival day, our friends and family could not believe how stunning the house and the grounds were. Everyone particularly commented on how beautiful the landscaping was and how amazing all the flowers smelt. My Dad in particular couldn’t believe how immaculate every single part was after he ventured to listen to his audiobook in all the nooks and crannies on the wedding morning. The arrival supper was so amazing and everyone commented on how delicious it was. The staff the night before were so attentive and in particular the guy behind the bar met everyone’s needs and was so friendly. The morning of the wedding was so seamless and everything seemed to run like a well oiled machine. It was clear that the team at Dewsall knew exactly what they were doing. It was so great to have you guys directing us on the wedding day as we had no clue where we needed to be and we did not have to worry about time because you were there to take us where needed. We wanted our guests to come on a journey around the grounds of Dewsall to show off how magical the venue is, from the drinks in the pole barn, to the ceremony on the church lawn, drinks and canapés in the house gardens and then finally in the wainhouse, our guests certainly felt the magic. You helped us decorate the wainhouse to perfection and it was truly what we had dreamt it would look like from the moment we viewed Dewsall. THE FOOD! Where to even begin, it was the talking point of the day about how incredible it was and many guests commented that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. People are still talking about that burrata now. The cocktails were delicious and the bar staff were amazing in the evening, so friendly, helpful and had fun with our guests. Please pass on our thanks to the entire team. Our day was what dreams were made of and it wouldn’t have been anywhere near possible without you guys and your seamless team. As we were leaving Dewsall, we certainly shed a few tears as we didn’t want it to end. We really hope you and your team enjoyed being part of our day. We fell in love with Dewsall when we first saw it. The entire place is stunning and homely and you’re spoilt for choice with ceremony locations, including the sprawling and beautiful grounds. The opportunity for everyone to stay together for the weekend was a big draw. The night before our wedding was a special bonus for us and everything we hoped it would be. Rosie and Molly guided us through the planning process - we had a lot of specific ideas and needs that probably made it trickier to coordinate but they pulled it off seamlessly, even bringing in an additional pair of hands in Ellen who helped make sure everything ran perfectly on the day - including carrying Xenia’s wedding dress across the estate to keep it from getting dirty pre ceremony! The weather wasn’t entirely on our side for our wedding weekend, so we had a fairly last minute change of ceremony area which the team handled brilliantly and the outcome was even more magical than we ever imagined. The food and service throughout the weekend was incredible and we’ve had loads of amazing feedback from our guests. We also massively appreciated Rosie’s hard work in helping us unload and pack down - making the whole experience as stress free as possible. Thank you so much to the whole team - we wish we could do it all again!

Dewsall exceeded all our expectations for our wedding day, it was a dream come true. Rosie and the team were amazing in making sure we had everything covered and all the details sorted for the big day, which made our lives so easy. The venue itself is so beautiful having all the different areas throughout the day made it so special, our guests have commented on how gorgeous it was! We really had the best day and Dewsall will always be a special place to us, I would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding!

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding than Dewsall Court. From the moment we arrived, we instantly felt how loved the house was by the team which really brought a family feel to our experience. The entire team at Dewsall were incredibly professional and attentive, ensuring every detail of our special day was flawlessly executed. Special shout out to Rosie and Molly who were superb through the whole process, with nothing too much trouble. The flow through the grounds on the day was super importance to us leading up to the wedding - We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day which meant that we were able to have our ceremony on the West Lawn with the stunning view of the Herefordshire countryside. The Wainhouse barn was the perfect setting for our Wedding Breakfast, speeches at the moon bar a highlight with an espresso martini in hand to really get the party started! The catering was exceptional, with a delicious menu tailored to our tastes, the lemon meringue pie was a stand out for our guests with many (including me) opting to forget the plate and go straight in with a fork! What truly sets Dewsall Court apart is its unique blend of luxury and homeliness. We and our guests felt immediately at ease, enjoying the charming bedrooms and the stunning views. The grounds are beautifully maintained, offering countless photo opportunities, we were really spoilt for choice. Our wedding at Dewsall Court was a dream come true. The venue, the team, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we first spoke to Ellen and our first viewing, we knew there was something special about Dewsall and that it was the place for us. The house and grounds are stunning, and every member of the team we came across made our experience that much better. Rosie you have been beyond fantastic helping us plan our truly magical day. Your organisation and passion put us both at ease. From our first conversation we knew we were in safe hands. Not only did everything run like clockwork, you did it all whilst Dafydd (best man) chewed your ear off. Everybody said how lovely you are, thank you so much for everything. Molly, you and your team are culinary wizards. You created some of the best food we have ever had (I’m obsessed with the pavlova, and rhydian wishes he could have that beef every day). We were excited for the tasting day, however after the first canapé we were in love and didn’t want the day to end. We can’t thank you enough for answering all of our millions of questions and dealing with all the dietary requirements. The food was beyond delicious, and all our guests felt the same. The top three things people have said to us are, the food was amazing, the venue was a stunning and it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Thank you to Henry, you and your team were fantastic and so friendly. Thank you so much for dealing with our slightly drunk friends and family. Seeing some of our guests in the morning it is clear everyone enjoyed your offerings. As a final thank you, we would like to thank the laddies and Huw who looked after us in the house. Nothing was ever to much, and you were always on hand. Our time at Dewsall court has truly been magical. We spent the past couple of days reliving our time there. It has become one of our favourite and most special places, we only wish we could do it exactly the same again and again. You really are made to feel like part of the family. From the moment we found Dewsall's website we knew we had found the place we wanted to get married and, to our relief, it was as wonderful as we hoped. It provides luxury without being pretentious, nature and sustainability without being shabby, professional and slick service without making you feel like you are just another wedding, flexibility without being overwhelming with choice. It's special but relaxed. From the moment we first enquired, the time given to show us around, communication and support for organising our day was great. The costs and what was included was clear and lots of flexibility in how we ran our day. The food was so important to us, as we wanted a fully plant-based menu and the catering staff were really flexible to accommodate our requests and some guests unique dietary requirements. All the food was amazing and we had several compliments from guests. Despite being disappointed that weather on the run up to our big day meant we couldn't have our ceremony outside, the staff were on top of everything to make the ceremony just as special and the change over in the Wainhouse seamless. Over our stay it felt like a home from home. All the staff were friendly and professional. Our guests have told us how much they enjoyed their stay and loved the venue. We all felt we were cut off from the world had the most incredibly special time at Dewsall. We hope to come back for one of the pop-up hotel stays! All the best
