Tracy's lace cap sleeve wedding dress was the perfect choice for her and Matt's secret garden-inspired wedding. With romantic flowers, quotes and signs adding to the whimsical styling. Plus, captures by Recommended photographer, Esme Whiteside which are as warm and as inviting as Recommended venue Dewsall Court. Keep your eyes peeled for her 11 bridesmaids all in different dresses carrying tambourines instead of bouquets. Genius!
The feel of the day was wild and romantic with a gentle nod to The Secret Garden my absolute favourite book growing up. The flowers were untamed and natural, peppered across the tables and hanging from the chandeliers. Cutlery and teacups were vintage and the plates were mismatched. Nothing was too formal or structured. We had a lot of help from our family and friends to style the day, which gave every detail an extra special and personal touch. We spent the evening eating, laughing, and dancing in our very own secret garden.

Whilst on the hunt for a venue, we visited Dewsall Court and, well, it stole our hearts. It had once been just like the secret garden in the book I'd treasured as a child, forgotten and unloved for years until the wonderful Robinson family discovered it and painstakingly restored the house and grounds, living there for many happy years as a family before turning it into a wedding venue. Whilst enjoying the food, music and laughter over the few days that we stayed you could really feel the sense of family and love that had been poured into it.
Matt and I aren't sticklers for tradition and so we woke up together at the crack of dawn on the morning of the wedding in the glorious Dewsall Suite. We got up and headed downstairs, made ourselves a cuppa and just enjoyed a quiet moment in the gardens while everyone slept. It was one of my favourite parts of the whole day, I just felt so incredibly content and lucky. We married later that afternoon on the west lawn overlooking the black mountains, surrounded by hedgerows and wildflower borders.
Allow yourself to trust the process and don’t try and control too much. Trust your suppliers, they won't let you down. The day will be incredible, it really is the best day of your life and you won't be looking out to check if a flower is out of place when you're walking down the aisle. Enjoy every second, soak up every dance and take a quiet moment out of the day to be just you two.

Tracy and Matt met on Tinder, postponed their day twice due to the pandemic, but more than made up for it with a balmy summer English country garden wedding. They put a lot of thought into the details and aesthetic of their wedding including adding a floral arch, naked wedding cake and a special edition of Tracy's favourite book The Secret Garden. And, the perfect dress for this outdoor celebration was most definitely Tracy's Jesus Peiro lace cap sleeve wedding dress. Wow. Just wow!
