We had a meeting a couple of weeks before the big day and went over the ideas and detail, which really helped to reassure us. On the day I was nervous but he was very calm and friendly, he was in the background as me and my bridesmaids were getting ready and really put me at ease. Because it was an intimate wedding we wanted just one photographer but somehow Jason manage to capture so many moments of our friends and family that we have missed. We had so much fun on the day that it was hard to get us away from the party to have some shots of us on our own but we were so glad he suggested/persuaded us to go as they turned out to be our favourite photos. All the pictures were so much more than we had hoped for, even though the low light of the forest and the tipis were tricky. He is very talented, down to earth and we love his work and hope that he continues to make great art and capture others couple’s happy day.

Friends of ours recommended Jason to us and after seeing his stunning and unique portfolio we knew we wanted to work with him. It was the best decision we made! Jason was an absolute dream, from initial contact through to the wedding day and delivery of our wedding photographs. We were blown away by his artistic talent, professionalism and overall positive and calm presence throughout the day. We hardly remember a camera being anywhere near us most of the day, yet he captured so many incredible moments and memories for us. Our guests said the same thing and were also singing his praises. It was so special to receive a slideshow of the first wedding photos just a few days into our honeymoon (less than a week after the wedding!) and we were also beyond thrilled with the video Jason and his wife Sarah (Harris Films) produced for us…WOW!!! We cannot recommend him enough.

Jason photographed our wedding in the New South Wales Southern Highlands, Australia, November 2015. He is an outstanding creative talent, with an incredible instinct for catching candid and personal moments with genuine subtlety and lightness of touch. He was able to use his craft to provide a beautiful photographic narrative of our special day – which is exactly what we wanted; rather than just a collection of posed pictures. This takes talent, empathy and patience, and Jason has all these things in spades. His delivery was exactly on brief: he took time to understand us as a couple, what makes us tick, and how we would like the day represented. He totally nailed it.
