Charlotte & Tom's Millbridge Court wedding is so romantic! The couple has been together since they were just fifteen and have been in love for twelve years. Being postponed for two years because of Covid, this wedding was a long time coming. But everything happens for a reason because their day was beautiful! Wanting the incredible female voices in their family to be heard, the couple conducted a joint speech and had the mother of the bride read out an epic poem, too. Captured by Recommended photographer, Jason Mark Harris Photography, you know there are going to be some fantastic shots. The couple also used Recommended supplier, The Wedding Shop, for their gift list.
Everyone says don't sweat the small stuff, and that's completely true! When it comes to the day and things might start going wrong but it's the small stuff and the details that truly make your day special, unique and memorable. Try to incorporate as many personal touches as possible! Even if they're only things the two of you will notice or understand. Our best decision was booking a photographer that made sure we had lots of little moments together alone. One regret is not hiring an on-the-day coordinator to help with all our styling!

The main vision for the day was a spring garden party. Charlotte & Tom wanted to marry outdoors, and for the celebrations to spill out into the garden. This included Pimms, games on the lawn, and live music! The vibe was boho with dried grasses, peacock chairs, and gingham napkins on rattan placemats. Although the couple refreshed things with modern elements including disco balls, a champagne tower and chandeliers in the trees. The two spent lockdown creating confetti cones out of Harry Potter pages and making props with their puppy's face on for the photo booth. The menu consisted of their favourite foods but that slice-at-the-table salted caramel and brownie pavlovas for dessert has got us drooling!
Charlotte & Tom decided on a Millbridge Court wedding after a big search of Surrey venues from browsing our real weddings. The couple found Jason Mark Harris on Rock My Wedding who became like an honorary groomsman by the end. Most of their other suppliers were found on Instagram! Their day was full of emotional readings and music. Tom's mum read Union by Robert Fulgham during the ceremony . The bridesmaids and Charlotte walked down the aisle to a live piano version of 'Secret Love Song' by Little Mix, Their first dance was sung by bridesmaid and childhood friend, Beth. She sang 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic' by Sleeping At Last along with the piano played by the musician. Someone pass us the tissues...
My favourite parts of the day include walking down the aisle with both my dad and my mum - as soon as we started walking the sun came out and birds were singing, it was perfect. It was super important to me to have both of them walk me, and they both did a speech before dinner (separately.. they're divorced as are Tom's parents, so the top table was fun to seat!). Our joint best moment was hopping in Jason's car to take pics on the beach, they look incredible and it was the perfect moment just for us two, away from the rest of the world.
