From the very start of their wedding planning journey, Emma & Greg were on a mission: boring was banned. Formalities? Tossed out the window. Tradition? Only if it involved Elvis. Their bottom line was simple: keep the guests well-fed, slightly (okay, very) drunk, and partying like there was no tomorrow. And boy, did they deliver. With a glitter station, temporary tattoos, a tarot reader, a magician-comedian hybrid, a photo booth, retro arcade games, and plenty of free booze, Emma & Greg made sure there was never a dull moment. The day was amazing and everything we wanted it to be! I think our first dance with our boys was a highlight. They were in their pyjamas and dancing like maniacs with us to their favourite song whilst everyone cheered, and it was amazing.

Vintage Valentine Meets Vegas Vibes
The theme for Emma & Greg was Vintage Valentine meets Vegas, and it was every bit as fabulous as it sounds. Picture pinks and reds, hearts and frills, cherubs galore, disco balls, and all the cheesy kitsch you could dream of. Emma, self-proclaimed girliest girl ever, couldn’t resist turning their venue into a glittering lovefest, with a nod to their favourite place on Earth. Vegas, baby! While a wedding stylist was out of budget, Emma took charge like a pro. She sourced everything from eBay, Vinted, and Facebook Marketplace, turning second-hand treasures into first-class décor. The Valentine’s Day before the wedding was a goldmine for decorations, bridesmaids' PJs, and little touches that tied it all together.
Family, Fun, and a Shot to Seal the Deal
Emma & Greg’s wedding wasn’t just about the two of them, it was also a family affair. Their two gorgeous little boys, aged 5 and 3, were at the heart of the celebration. The couple chose a celebrant-led ceremony, which meant they could make it truly personal. Instead of traditional readings, their celebrant told their love story based on questionnaires Emma & Greg filled out beforehand. They even made family vows with their boys, promising to take care of each other, give daily high-fives, and dish out cuddles like there’s no tomorrow. Cute! They sealed their marriage with a shot (from Vegas mugs, of course)! The boys also joined their parents on the dance floor for a confetti-filled family boogie.

Our friends and family were amazing all day and cheerleaded us to the freaking max! My bridesmaids are my soul sisters (Laura, Charl, Nally & Charlene), and they ran around making sure that the whole day went smoothly and I couldn't have done it without them (or my honorary bridesmaids, Jakey and Beth). They all made the bridal party photo shoot freaking hilarious and a real highlight of the day too.

Forget stuffy receptions, Emma & Greg’s party was an all-out bash. Their first dance to Elvis’s Can’t Help Falling in Love was as sweet as it was iconic, but they kept things real with their evening DJs, Party Punks, who brought their elder emo and metalhead vibes to life. The night wrapped up with the couple slow-dancing to Creed (yes, that Creed) because nothing says “forever” like belting out a 2000s anthem with your soulmate.
The couple also wanted to give a special shoutout to Magician Josh, who had guests raving with his hilarious tricks and kept the party rolling during any downtime, not that there was much!
