Louise and Elliott had an intimate back garden wedding complete with family, flowers and fun. They shared their day with their daughter (and son!) and everyone they love in a marquee reception at Lou's parent's house. They dressed the marquee in pink and white flowers and decor, including an impressive step ladder and plant box display. Wow!
We were due to get married in 2020 and had planned a beautiful wedding that we had to cancel due to lockdown. We then started planning a wedding for summer 2021, crossing everything it would go ahead. When it was finally announced that weddings could go ahead we started to plan a more intimate wedding in my parent's garden. It was somewhere that meant a lot to us and I'd always dreamed of getting married there.

We wanted something very relaxed, quite rustic and more a celebration of us and everyone there rather than a big wedding. So we chose my parent's back garden to host our intimate wedding. With a marquee decked out in pink and white flowers.
Having my two-year-old daughter there as well as being pregnant with my son was special. Also, being able to celebrate with all our family and friends in one place as it had been such a long time since we'd seen some of them.
Enjoy the process and soak it up as much as you can as it goes by in the blink of an eye! Also, make sure you book the best photographer you can!
