A pre wedding shoot is always a good idea. Always. We are just loving Victoria & Liam’s Dartmouth engagement session! Having been long-distance for the majority of their relationship, they are more than ready to close the gap once they have said their vows in Devon! They spent the day exploring, laughing, and embracing a little rain. We can just see the happiness radiating from this beautiful couple! And it was all perfectly captured by recommended supplier, Grace Elizabeth Photography. We can’t wait to see the wedding…
We have been together for 4 years, and we were dance partners at University. Our relationship has always had a long-distance element between home and in placements across the south west.Victoria & Liam
It's hard to keep something like a proposal secret during our current situation. In June, Liam had booked a slot at Buckland Abbey, our local National Trust spot. I had a good idea of where it was going to happen, there was a bench surrounded by trees that overlooked the valley, where we had previously had a picnic. With the one way system, we were worried that we wouldn't find the bench, however, after climbing through the undergrowth we found it. We sat there had hot chocolate and cookies, Liam proposed and I said yes without even seeing the ring.
I found Grace by accident when searching for wedding photographers, but immediately fell in love with the bright colours and warm tones of her work, which is full of informal, authentic moments. We felt both nervous and excited before our engagement session. Grace put us at ease, we spent the majority of the shoot laughing and giggling. The weather was so changeable, but there was a wonderful moment we stood in the gorse, silhouetted by the sun.
We started to talk Skype over Christmas which turned into nightly conversations on face time. We enjoy meeting every other weekend for walks and adventures.Victoria & Liam
