Tina & Orran's big day at the Milling Barn was an indie wedding dream. The couple were a little nervous about the big day, so they decided to have a special first look to help ease those pre-ceremony nerves. After the ceremony, they'd brought out smoke bombs and prosecco for an epic wedding party photo session and they all looked ready to start dancing the night away! Capturing said photo session and all of this boho wedding is Recommended supplier, Jodie DC Mitchell photography. The boho day was full of beautiful dried wedding flowers by Recommended supplier, Grace Florals. Recommended supplier, Luna and Wild also made the incredible flower crown Tina wore.

Tina & Orran
Tina & Orran made their wedding at Milling Barn all about the sentimental details and personal touches. The couple included details that they preferred. The wedding breakfast room was decorated with pumpkins and candles, along with little golden dinosaur wedding favours (Orran had a dragon instead as he loves Dungeons and Dragons). There also was a huge banner with Arctic Monkeys lyrics made by the groom's mum. The end result was just a fun day full of laughter and not taking anything too seriously. Tina & Orran's wedding day had dried flowers in an autumnal colour scheme of greens and burgundy. Tina also wore a flower crown and a veil, which looks amazing!
Tina's fourteen-year-old brother has been playing the piano since he was little and learnt 6 of the couple's favourite songs for the ceremony. Tina & Orran chose a band who frequently played at their uni (where they met) after a drunken deal was made at one of their gigs many years ago! They were a true highlight. Some of the songs in their day include Tender by Blur and Only Ones Who Know by Arctic Monkeys. The couple wanted to shout out the mother of the groom, Lisa, for all her hard work and DIY! She created most of the signage and banners. Also, they wanted to thank their creative photographer and videographer for leaving them with special keepsakes of their incredible day!
We would say try to ignore online content that says what you should and shouldn't do at your wedding. Our social media algorithm definitely clocked onto the fact we were planning a wedding. We became overwhelmed with content. So much so that we started second-guessing choices we'd made, and just overthinking it all. Wedding planning is already so stressful! So take your inspo, but go with your gut and plan a wedding that YOU would want. It's easy to become a people pleaser during the planning, but on the day, that all melts away. It's about you!
