We're absolutely losing our minds at this epic three day wedding celebration at Masseria Potenti. There are so many fabulous details! Personalised tambourine favours, a surprise live brass band (eat your heart out, Love Actually) and a bright red vintage Fiat 500. The epitome of classic Italian style. Emma & Will got married at Masseria Potenti in September 2020, seizing a window of opportunity to fly their nearest and dearest out to Italy for three days of fun, because in Emma's words: 'it had been a WHILE'. If you're into fashion, brace yourself. Emma wore a gorgeous Halfpenny London gown teamed with a pair of Gucci heels, while Will wore a Thom Sweeney suit. Plus, undoubtedly some of the most chic wedding guest outfits we've ever seen.
With the pandemic kicking in, we genuinely didn't know if the wedding would go ahead as planned until the week of! When it all came together the atmosphere was EUPHORIC!! Everyone was so thrilled and grateful to be there and spirits were (very) high!Emma & Will
Fun, relaxed, with a lot of love in the air! The sun beamed all weekend, everyone was looking tanned and gorgeous with big smiles across their faces! The styling was rustic-chic, and colour palette loosely based around off-whites, green and orange. Masseria Potenti itself is so so beautiful, so there was no need to complicate things. Plenty of olive foliage, candles and wildflowers. The venue is run by Chiara and her wonderful welcoming family, a joy to work with and their attention to detail is so on point!
I loved the morning getting ready with the girls, the ceremony was really special (and hilarious). It was topped off with the Zagor Band surprising everyone as we walked out. Entering dinner in the red fiat was fabulous, I unintentionally didn't tell anyone, so it was fun seeing everyone's faces! And of COURSE the dance floor. Everyone lost their minds as it had been a while and Johnny played the world's greatest set. Our cake was pretty amazing too, a pyramid of cannoli washed down with an espresso martini.
We wanted to keep things personal, so we got our pals involved where we could. My oldest friend Isobel Murphy happens to be an EPIC photographer, our bridesman John Archdale designed all our stationery, the "J-Bird" married us, Joanna Boone painted the tambourines and Johnny was on the decks all weekend. Bringing a touch of Hackney, we also gave our guests a personalised Earl of East candle each.Emma & Will
