It's no secret that team Rock My Wedding absolutely adore all things, Parisian. This is why we absolutely fell in love with the new collection by Moon Child Bridal in collaboration with Jean Jackson Couture. Inspired by recent events and couples everywhere choosing to get married no matter what in outfits they feel comfortable in, but also that really show off their individuality. We think micro weddings have really inspired couples to think outside the box when it comes to their wedding day fashion and very much look forward to seeing what they choose in the future!
This incredibly beautiful new collection by Moon Child Bridal in collaboration with Jean Jackson Couture is such an inspiration on how when faced with adversity businesses can evolve and adapt and create something new and exciting and beautiful.Louise The McHendrys
This new collection has been inspired by the new trend brought about by the global pandemic- smaller, more intimate and stylish city micro weddings and elopements. This beautiful new collection called 'C'est La Vie' literally translating to 'That's life' or 'Such is life. it a term used to express acceptance in the face of a difficult situation and this collection is very much inspired by the modern bride and the recent changes to weddings because of Covid-19.
We had a few different looks for the shoot. We teamed the Felicity dress with little Gucci ankle socks with gold platform heels, a low sleek ponytail, red lip and some simple white roses. For the Amelie dress, we went for a softer feminine look with a slick low bun and a red lip with Vivienne Westwood heels with a pop of red and wildflowers. This look really gives a gorgeous Parisian vibe. And for the Solange Separates, we went for a 70's vibe. Worn with a beige blazer and natural fedora and western style ankle boots, loose tousled hair, a nude lip and some simply tied hydrangeas.
Felicity the model actually owns and works in Jean Jackson Couture with her mum Beck. The Felicity dress is actually named after her. The gorgeous little bohemian boutique in the heart of the northern quarter in Manchester is run by three generations of an incredibly strong, intelligent beautiful woman. Jean who the shop is named after, her daughter Beck and Beck's daughter Felicity. I cannot recommend their beautiful boutique enough, not only do they stock such unique dresses such as Rue de Seine, but they are the most welcoming, loveliest ladies. It's a very special place.Louise The McHendrys
