Not to mention guest of honour, Henry the Poodle. Every detail was planned to make their day theirs. From the fairy lights leading down the jetty. To homemade damson gin favours. The rustic logs and candles brought the wedding breakfast tablescape to life. And a special moment for the couple and their guests were the singing waiters. Feel the love...

Our day was completely 'us'. Our venue, Inn on the Lake was magical. We travel to the lakes quite a bit with our dog - Henry, so it was important that he was there with us. The lakes were perfect on Ullswater lake. The day was relaxed, friendly and topped off with a huge party with everybody that we love. You can never rely on the weather in the Lake District, especially in winter, so we expected the worst. On the day it was drizzly, which suited our venue and actually perfected our pictures outside.Lisa & Scott

Sweeping to the shores of Lake Ullswater, this Inn on the Lake wedding was a truly spectacular setting for Scott and Lisa's winter wedding. With the Lake District being one of the most popular countryside beauty spots in the UK, it comes as no surprise that the couples chose The Inn on the Lake. It is the most stunning wedding venue. Set in 15 acres of landscaped grounds, with breathtaking views of the lake and the mountains, we want to pack up and visit ourselves.

We have so many favourite moments from the day. The ceremony was perfect. Scott being stood waiting for me, with Henry in his suit, looking at the incredible views was amazing. The singing waiters were a favourite - our guests still talk about how brilliant they were and what a fantastic atmosphere they created, especially after the meal.
