The suppliers for this shoot drew on influences from London Fashion Week. The incredible make-up artist Rachel Maslin focused on big, bold, golden lids and dewy lips for the makeup, in order to make the gold leaf crown and headpieces pop. Hair styling was done gorgeously by Laura at Alida K. The beautiful model couple, The Queer Nomads, made the whole shoot come alive. Aisha was regal in the crown, a floaty peach gown, and a star-flecked embroidered dress. Lexie was stunning in that crystal-embellished gown and gold headdress, followed by an elegant silk suit.
Silchester Farm provided a stunning location for this shoot. It gave the team free-reign to their many beautiful, purpose-built spaces. They opted to hold the ceremony in the more traditional Threshing Barn, while The Cowshed provided a rich setting for the wedding banquet and cake table. It was done in front of their vast, lead-lined window, with festoon chandelier lighting. The string trio gave the space some striking, luxury entertainment, with their electric string instruments and glittery gold gowns. The outdoor throne and lake scenes were brought to life with hot pink and rich orange smoke bombs.
The cake, by Olivia bakes, was a three-tier modern cake in a rich blue buttercream with a velvet effect base tier. It had gold rice paper sails and was finished with a semi-circle Bramble Sky arch stand. Decorated with lots of dark green ruscus, it truly was a stand-out dessert. Those beautiful bouquets featuring trailing dark red aramanthus and burnt orange chrysanthemums were the cherries on top of this fantastic cake.
