Who is ready to be transported into a fairytale? Two heroines wear an ethereal wedding dress and princess gown surrounded by romantic flowers, drapes and candles all set in the most picturesque location. Told you it was good. Capturing all the style and romance was, Recommended Photographer, Katherine And Her Camera whose light and airy editing style really complement this inspiration at Mapledurha House in Reading. We're also eying up the cake by Recommended Cake Designer, Olivia Bakes. It's no wonder it takes pride of place on a barrel as it's a real showstopper and focal point.
Our vision for this shoot was to feature a real-life same-sex couple for a soft, ethereal and romantic feel.

Our inspiration for the shoot was the naturally stunning backdrop of the Mapledurham Estate and the ethereal paintings of “The Lady of Shalott” by John William Waterhouse and John Everett Millais’ pre-raphelite “Ophelia”. We wanted the styling to be soft, romantic and muted with delicate peaches, creams and dark greens. Plus, lots of light, flowing fabrics and chiffon.
To emphasise the whimsical look we focused on one floating, ethereal wedding dress with delicate sleeves paired with heavy boots, a loose updo with a long flowing veil and a hair vine. As well as a billowing, hooped princess wedding dress, paired with a bold off-centre flower crown and a loose fishtail plait. Together the brides looked stunning.
Makeup looks included a high fashion look with bold peaches and striking eyebrows combined with delicate pale lips. As well as a pale base with smoky eyes and a pale lip. It was a great contrast and complimented both brides.
