Don't you just love beach weddings? There is just something so carefree about walking barefoot on the hot sand and feeling the cool sea breeze in your hair. Plus, I'm certain we could all do with a dose of vitamin sea right now! From simple ceremonies by the shore to elegant events by the water's edge, we've rounded up 16 our favourite beach weddings from all over the world, so we can all enjoy a little bit of paradise from the comfort of our own home. Bride with Short Hair for a Contemporary Wedding in the Netherlands

Hannah & Adam mixed incredible fashion and flowers for their sophisticated beach wedding. Using acrylic signs, artisan floral arrangements, and black tie attire. They also entertained 24 children with teepees, fancy dress, goody bags, and games, hiring a creche service to keep an eye on them so the adults could enjoy the party.

Abi & Rob met and fell in love in Thailand and knew this was where they wanted to say I do too. They held a sentimental ceremony in the sand under a draped altar decorated with white orchids and dream catchers and were entertained during their wedding reception with fire dancers and DIY playlists.

Alexa & Rich's bohemian wedding was right here on the beaches of Cornwall. They kept things laid back with Rich and his groomsmen opting for jeans, flip flops and braces, and everyone enjoying cricket and tug of war in the sand. They even took along their pet dog Ralphy as ring bearer, who made everyone laugh by howling at the crucial moment of ‘Is there anyone here present who knows any lawful reason why Alexa and Richard cannot be joined in marriage?’

The beach elopement of Alexandra & Raoul has us beaming from ear to ear. Not only does everyone complement each other in beautiful mint green and coral outfits, but the intimate setting and heartfelt moments add to the magic of these nuptials. At the end of the day, they watched the sun dipping behind the horizon and saw the sky turn into a myriad of candy colours.

Elizabeth & Angel's wedding was a day of two cultures coming together to unite and celebrate! With the Groom originating from Ecuador, the wedding was held on a beach in his Mother’s birth province with decor and flowers (including pampas grass) that really complemented the natural beauty of the area, styled by Etica Events.

Natalie & Ricky not only said I do on the beach, but they also held their wedding reception on the beach too, with hanging blush flowers and fairy lights. Plus, ribbon chair back decor and the sweetest dessert table. Just wait until you see it in the evening!

Sarah & Kate are from England and Australia so always knew they wanted a destination wedding somewhere in between. They chose an all-white colour scheme with lots of flowers, candles and fairy lights and held a ceremony right by the beach. Then celebrated in the evening with a fire dancer, a human firework and sky lanterns.

Laura & Paco most definitely brought the party to their Spanish beach wedding. Not only did they look absolutely fabulous themselves, but they had some of the most unique decor and details we've ever seen. Including balloon arches, iridescent geodes, incredible stationery and signs. All of this was backed up with festival vibes and smoke bombs portraits.

When you think of the beach you think of clear blue skies and parasols, and this was exactly what Nikki & Lewis' Thailand beach wedding entailed. The ceremony aisle and altar were picture perfect and the reception on the beach full of fairy lights was magical.

Kyria & Kevin reside in beautiful Portugal and love the beach, so applied for a license to hold their ceremony in a secluded spot on Cabanas Velhas beach. They set up the chairs and the beautiful pergola a couple of hours before the nuptials and celebrated at the local bar afterwards.

Mary & Matt's wedding ceremony took place on Wrightsville beach right by the shore, under a stunning flower arch overlooking the breathtaking sea views; afterwards they took a short boat ride to their outdoor reception that was held at Mary’s uncle’s quayside house and was all decked out with a fabulous nautical theme.

The white sand, crystal blue waters and warm Mediterranean sun of Jackie & Pete's beach wedding mixed with the planning talents of Susanna from Algarve Events have made this desert island wedding a coastal dream. Plus, you have to see Jackie's Inbal Dror wedding dress and headdress. Talk about travelling in style!

After cancelling their 150 guest wedding and opting for something stress-free, Davina & Angus stayed close to home and eloped to Devon for an intimate ceremony with nine of their closest family and friends. The images captured by Liberty Pearl are incredible and you can tell everyone is having the best time.

Whilst this isn't quite a beach wedding, we couldn't, not, include the fabulous East Quay wedding venue in our roundup. As you can see Cara & Moppett made full use of the beachside location and included deck chairs and balloon installations in their wedding decor, as well as taking some fabulous portraits with the sea as their backdrop.

Lusty Glaze in Newquay is another beachside wedding venue where, Becky & Alex had a relaxed family fun day complete with beach volleyball, doughnut wedding favours and an adorable German Shepard ring bearer. There was also a surprise wedding gift for the groom which you just have to see!
