Heather, Heather, Heather. I don’t even know where to begin with this fabulous and talented woman. I came across her work and thought, damn, that is our wedding photographer. From first contact Heather was great – responsive, professional but also extremely relatable – I instantly felt a rapport and comfortable around Heather – which is no mean feat for an exchange over email. To cut an extremely long review into a slighter shorter one, I’d say this: Your photographer is probably one of the most important parts of your day – Heather basically helped us organise our wedding, from endless (and great) recommendations and contacts for just about everything, to making sure the day ran smoothly, ensuring we got some time together as a newly married couple, to banter and friendly vibes with our guests. Heather puts so much into all the prep and also communication pre wedding, that We felt like we had a wingman (or wingwoman)/ mate taking our photos. Trust and feeling comfortable with your photographer is key, and Heather is just a natural. The best choice in terms of our wedding (apart from eachother) was having Heather as our photographer. It might sound like madness but I wasn’t sure I needed a wedding photographer at all to start off with, I imagined it would be too much pressure, being manipulated into poses that would not feel like me, or just too “wedding-y photos” in general. Thank god that moment of madness passed, and my sister recommended I meet Heather. I am eternally grateful to her for capturing not only the most amazing memories of our wedding, but also for doing so in such an effortless and relaxed way. From our first meeting, I knew that we had made the right choice. We really felt listened to about what we wanted, but equally recognised that with Heather’s eye and experience, we were incredibly lucky to have such a talented and creative photographer with us on our big day. Everything felt so easy and relaxed, yet Heather managed to capture so much, it was amazing. Her skill at putting people at ease, and recognising the perfect shot, means that we have an album full of brilliant memories and beautiful, original photos – we could not have hoped for more.
