This Walcot Hall wedding is just filled to the brim with colour, love, and plenty of Bollywood dancing! Wanting an English ceremony with a South Asian twist, Ahlia & Tom encouraged guests to wear bright Asian clothing and left everyones mouths watering with a feast of traditional dishes. Recommended Supplier, Michael Maurer Photography, was on hand to capture this beautiful day, and had been hand-picked by Ahlia as their photographer before they were even engaged. Of course, their fantastic taste doesn’t end there, as they also chose Recommended Supplier, Prezola, to supply their Gift List. They were also able to take advantage of the beautiful Walcot Hall grounds, and encouraged guests to travel before the wedding, hosting a chilled pizza party to begin celebrations!
We'd always envisaged a relaxed and fun atmosphere on our day. South Asian weddings can sometimes be overwhelming and busy - but our fusion was just perfect for us.

Ahlia & Tom were pretty set on their suppliers! Opting for Walcot Hall due to its quirky characteristics and colourful interior (just look at that ballroom). Ahlia had also been following Photography, Michael Maurer for years, and had no doubt in her mind that he would capture their day perfectly. Alongside that, they also have some pretty talented friends, who provided their wedding stationery and decor… hey, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.
Ahlia & Tom suggest escaping together for at least 10 minutes on your Big Day (we agree!) Whether that’s to capture those all important couples portraits, or just to spend a little time alone. Now, you know we’re big fans of our motto ‘Your Day, Your Way’, well, it would seem this gorgeous couple are also. Opting to ensure each aspect was exactly what they wanted, from the food, to the music, and everything in-between!
Take it all in and enjoy every last minute! We would do it all over again, tomorrow, the next day and the day after!
