This gorgeous couple were married at Nancarrow, a working farm, which uses their own produce. They also chose local suppliers, and smaller businesses (we love the support!) Wanting a simple and rustic vibe, Danielle & Richard decorated the venue themselves, opting for fairy lights, wood slices, and DIY chalkboard signage. Now, you may recognise this beautiful couple, and you would be correct! We just so happened to have featured their incredible beach engagement session. So, we should have known their wedding would be just as stunning as it is!
Our table names were our favourite places we'd been in Cornwall. After such a tough year for so many we wanted it to be a real celebration of love. We wrote our own vows and included lots of details such as music picked from movies we'd seen on dates or from special moments in our relationship.

We tried to choose local suppliers such as Roly's Fudge and some smaller businesses such as LouLou Belles, our florist. Although our band came all the way from Manchester but we just loved their sound as a mix of modern and old playing soul classics and old school garage! We kept some of our suppliers in the family. Emily our photographer is my step sister, Jacklyn my goddaughter and the DJ a best friend and it meant a lot for these special talented people to be included in our day.
Our favourite moment has to be the entrance into the wedding breakfast. We wanted to incorporate the African tradition of having the groom and Bride's family dance in before the bride and groom. The bride's parents came dancing in to Signed Sealed Delivered, followed by the groom's parents, and then the bridesmaids and groomsmen to Crazy In Love. Everyone was on their feet and it felt like a true celebration. We loved our sparkler entrance to the first dance too and seeing our loved ones smiling.
Finding suppliers that specialised in black hair and makeup or even finding example portfolio pictures in Cornwall was very hard. Noble Tiaras helped to prepare the Bride's hair style a couple of days before, leaving Sjani and Ione to take over. They did a beautiful job with the hair and make up of each member of a diverse bridal party.
