Tunnels Beach Coastal Wedding

Photography by James Frost

Kim & Richard love being outside in nature, so naturally, their Tunnels Beach wedding was the perfect fit! Their styling and vibe revolved entirely around the location, so everything chosen blended naturally into the venue. With boho touches and a laid-back feel, they opted for varying shades of green bridesmaid dresses, rust and champagne floral arrangements, and an outdoor ceremony you don’t want to miss! The couple is also lucky enough to have some very talented friends! Such as bridesmaid Jenna, a professional baker who was on hand to create their incredible wedding cake, and close friend Grace, who happens to be a makeup artist! Hey, who said you had to go abroad to get married on the beach…

We live by the beach and love being outside in nature. We knew we wanted our wedding day to reflect that. As soon as we viewed Tunnels Beaches, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Having an outdoor ceremony in a private cove with the sounds and smells of the waves rolling in was so atmospheric.

FAVOURITE MOMENT

Without a doubt, our favourite moment was walking back up the aisle together hand in hand, immediately after the ceremony. Everything felt so surreal and magical, our favourite music playing, surrounded by all our friends and family - we couldn't have been happier. It was a moment we'll never forget.

TUNNELS BEACH

Everything revolved around the location. The backdrop of Tunnels Beaches is absolutely stunning, and really doesn't need much dressing, so we chose everything carefully to blend with the beautiful natural environment. We wanted everything to feel relaxed, laid-back and natural, with boho touches. Our tables were named after beaches that were meaningful to us. We included pictures of these in our table plan.

For any brides thinking about doing a speech - I would say 100% go for it. I'm so glad I took the opportunity to say some of my own personal 'thank you's' in a room full of everyone I love.

Kim & Richard

Tunnels Beach provided a beautiful backdrop for Kim & Richard. We also love that they opted to write their own vows, creating a more personal ceremony. Oh and those green bridesmaid dresses… of course, we’ve got plenty more inspiration! And if you're loving the limbo action, you won't want to miss these wedding games
