Inspiration & Styling
I knew that I would need an excellent stylist and planner to assist me with executing the day. Amy from Attabara was the perfect choice after working with her on a recent editorial. So well organised and understood my vision completely. Amy brought my ideas to life! Amy and Lianne coordinated the whole day and made sure we stuck to our timeline of rotating scenes and models, as well as coordinating the photographers. Our florist, Kate from Agnes and Bee, had been essential in styling the perfect scenes for the shoot. We created concepts together which we felt were contemporary and transcendent in the wedding world. Kate crafted the most incredible organic, sculptural installations. Her work was a pure artistic masterpiece.Emmylou of Emmy Shoots
Emmy of Emmy Shoots fell in love with the Toni Maticesvki two-piece set with trousers and trailing corsetry one should top from, bridal boutique, The White Closet. (It’s not hard to see why.) And set about building a concept around it. Her vision is both modern and timeless and with the help of many talented suppliers pay tribute to her workshop, MILES, perfectly showcasing love, light and movement.
Fashion & Beauty
We chose organic materials and shapes to match the flow and structure of the outfit. Lori Muldoone’s one-of-a-kind pieces worked beautifully with our Toni dress as well as the Halfpenny silk dress for our second model. We added touches of gold with jewellery from Ruddock to create a clean and polished look. I wanted our models to have a soft look so we chose hair down for both. Anakarina, our Brazilan model of mixed-race parentage had the most beautiful curls which Daniella, our HMUA defined and brought to life. Ellena had soft natural effortless waves. Daniella chose makeup to complement both girls. She accentuated Anakarina’s green eyes with dark hues as well as creating a softer palette for Ellena’s fresh face.
