Let me set the scene for you. You’re at Tigre Del Mar in Costa Careyes, Mexico, overlooking the blue waters of the Azure Ocean. Bohemian decor, sunshine, love and joy surround you. Sounds dreamy right? Well, we have some incredible news for you, this isn’t a dream. It’s Marlene & Samarth’s destination wedding, and we’ve been lusting over every aspect of it since we first saw it. Marlene is Latina, and Samarth is Indian-Canadian, so they had a gorgeous multicultural wedding with traditional and non-traditional moments. Marlene’s boho wedding dress, Hindu bridal accessories, and those dramatic ocean sunset views truly have us dreaming of a stylish wedding in warmer climates!

Marlene & Samarth
Tigre Del Mar
Tigre Del Mar was the perfect backdrop for Marlene & Samarth’s wedding. Based in Mexico, its unique blue and white architecture has nods to Santorini while matching the ocean views provided by the location. The decor featured soft and delicate pastels with macrame and disco ball decor, adding to the laid-back and free-spirited vibes of Tigre Del Mar. Marlene wore a bohemian lace wedding dress and paired it with flower hair accessories and a traditional matha patti. During the ceremony, the couple exchanged pink varmalas, a Hindu wedding tradition symbolising love, respect and commitment. We adore the addition of this tradition and think the pink flower garlands made Marlene & Samarth's outfits better than they already were (if that’s even possible). The couple exchanged their own vows with a handfasting ceremony, and there was not a dry eye in the house. They also chose to do some first-look photographs. These are a great way to ease any nerves and spend a quiet moment together before your big day!
As the evening rolled in, the blue castle came alive with the energy of the wedding reception. It is quite obvious Marlene & Samarth are a couple adored by all. Laughter filled the night and friends and family made touching toasts in celebration of the happy couple.
Lucie B. Photo
Marlene & Samarth nailed boho destination chic at their Tigre Del Mar wedding in Costa Careyes. The fashion, the decor, the views, everything! Did you see Marlene’s white orchid wedding bouquet? It is sheer simplicity and elegance. Instead of a traditional sparkler send-off, Marlene & Samarth shared their first dance surrounded by their loved ones holding sparklers. If that isn’t magical, we don’t know what is! Although the sunset portraits captured by Lucie B. Photo are up there too! If this wedding at Tigre Del Mar has inspired you to have a destination wedding, it may be worth thinking about hiring a wedding planner. Wedding planners are experts in helping you create your day, your way, and are there to give you a helping hand!
