Rustic Luxe At The Saddle Room

Laura & Edmund had an elegant black tie rustic luxe wedding at The Saddle Room. There are so many things we just adore about this wedding! From Laura's stunning tulle wedding dress by Recommended supplier, Halfpenny London, to the intimate exchanging of vows with a unique smudge cleanse, and the cutest prettiest doggy you ever did see all captured by Recommended supplier, Imogen Eve Photography. The fact that Laura & Edmund had all their friends and family fly in from America, Singapore, and Australia meant everything to them. The couple also chose Recommended supplier, Hannah Rachael Weddings, to help plan and style their day and found their band through Recommended supplier, Bands For Hire!

Rustic luxe wedding at The Saddle Room

6 months into our wedding planning we got into a horrendous mess with getting everything organised. We had about 7 months left to go and so much to do! We found Hannah Racheal Weddings on Rock My Wedding. We instantly found a connection with her warmth and passion. She went above and beyond to help us plan and create our day in such a short space of time. There were lots of late-night emails and zooms. She was professional and so dedicated to delivering the day we wanted.

Wedding Ceremony

Laura & Edmund worked with their celebrant, Lisa, to write their own vows. They had no idea what the other had written but their vows mirrored each other perfectly. They felt like they were the only people in the room. The couple wanted to have a sage smudge ritual to cleanse their energies before getting married, which their celebrant embraced wholeheartedly. In the ceremony, they had Laura's mum read an extract from The Amber Spyglass by Phillip Pullman and Edmund's mum read an extract from Captain Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres, which are both such beautiful readings! The ceremony was so personal to the couple that all the guests said how touching it was.

The Saddle Room

Laura & Edmund booked The Saddle Room and then found their photographer, Imogen Eve Photography, shortly after. The venue was perfect for them as it is in the wilderness of the Yorkshire Dales. The couple felt that the venue reflected their own wild personalities and wild love for each other. They decorated the venue with a neon sign from Recommended supplier, I Do Hire. As soon as Laura found Imogen Eve on Rock My Wedding, the couple fell in love with her photography, her candid style, and her ability to show emotion through her pictures. We also have to give a mention to Laura's beautiful Halfpenny London dress and, of course, to their cute puppy, Ruby, who looked so elegant in a white satin scarf.
