Our wedding day included a unique ceremony with our Yorkshire Celebrant helping us create a personalised ceremony since we had already had an intimate civil ceremony the year before during the Covid restrictions. We used the suppliers recommended by the venue, as well as viewing their work on Instagram. Our suppliers were talented local Yorkshire businesses who went out of their way to make our wedding a vibrant reality!
Rima & Andy
When you love flora and fauna as much as Rima & Andy, it's no surprise to see the bride in a floral Savin London wedding dress. It suits their whimsical theme beautifully, with wildflower decor and a flower crown complementing the rustic venue. There is also a subtle nod in the wedding stationery to a heron because the couple kept seeing one on their first dates together. They also turned their hand to a little DIY, making a wonderful wooden pallet sign.
Rima & Andy first fell in love with Tithe Barn in Bolton Abbey after it became their refuge during a muddy hike from Ilkley to Grassington. They instantly fell in love with the wooden interior and greenery, which appealed to their love of nature. Their wedding was the first time they saw many of their family and friends post pandemic. As you can guess, they roof off, celebrating with lots of love, laughter and a Ceilidh band.
Leave plenty of time to plan! We booked our venue and key wedding suppliers over a year in advance so we wouldn’t worry about it later. It takes a lot of time to plan a wedding and can take up a lot of weekends leading up to the wedding, so make sure you have some downtime after the wedding to enjoy! Finally, have fun planning together, it’s true teamwork, and we loved what we had achieved together on the day.
