Get ready for some boho chic vibes at this Rushall farm wedding! Wanting to incorporate their love of music and creativity into their day, Clarice & Max’s day was truly a labour of love; describing it as ‘Music Festival meets Midsummer Nights Dream’ (AMAZING). Complete with food trucks, a silent disco, and a camp out when the night was over. Their day also included plenty of DIY touches, such as a giant festival signpost and cookie wall! Oh, and not forgetting the G&T stand, which held Clarice’s prized collection of over 30 gins… uhm, Clarice, we’d like to be friends ASAP? Ok, thank you. All beautifully captured by recommended supplier, Jessica Lily Photography.
Max is a musician in a band called MarthaGunn and I'm a trained actor. The barn we chose for our wedding, I can see from my parents cottage. Music and creativity was integral to our day and having our friends and family so involved in the ceremony and speeches was a must.Clarice & Max
Our Ceremony was very special. Our best friends officiated our wedding and we incorporated our version of "hymns" by Lionel Richie, John Denver and Nat King Cole, featuring a wicked sax solo from our friend Josh. Many of our mates picked up their instruments and got involved. We also had our best friends and family leading the ceremony singing and giving readings. A very poignant moment was an Acapella rendition of 'Lean on Me' by three talented women in our lives, the harmonies were so stunning. Of course I managed to sneak a Shakespeare verse in there as well!
Make sure you do it your way. All of our guests noticed our special touches; like our family tree and homemade gin stand and enjoyed our loving and joyous ceremony. It was extremely personal to us and had more than a few guests reaching for their tissues. From the moment I arrived with my bridesmaids on a tractor trailer singing down the track, the day was already special. Don't sweat the small stuff, the prosecco for our Aperol Spritz disappeared (we found it later) but our bar staff improvised a version with white wine and orange juice, which was delicious.
Jess (our lovely photographer) blew us away with her images, we felt so emotional looking back at these photos and they’re something we will treasure forever. We would highly recommend her.Clarice & Max
