What could be more beautiful than this Rosa Clara Niher wedding gown? Well, just this wedding in its entirety. We are simply swooning over Bethany & Simon’s floral filled day at Recommended Supplier venue, Iscoyd Park. Wanting a quintessentially country wedding, they chose to use suppliers as local to the venue as possible, ensuring they had fantastic knowledge of the venue itself. Of course, Recommended Supplier, Jo Bradbury Photography was on hand to capture this stunning day. Honestly, if you’re looking for the epitome of a classic country wedding, you’ve found it right here, and you won’t be disappointed.
It was a day filled with so much love and joy due to it being one of the first weddings after lockdown restrictions had been eased in Wales. many of the invited guests had not seen each other for more than a year which made the day all the more special as it brought friends and family back together to celebrate. After so much uncertainty in the run up to the day, in the end it was completely perfect and I definitely think we were the first couple to sing 'We Are The Champions' by Queen in the Church!

It's really tough to pick a specific moment. I just remember feeling this overwhelming happiness from the moment I opened my eyes in the morning. We had been through such a tough time to actually make it to the wedding due to the pandemic, that when the day finally arrived I was just so happy. I think if I had to pick one moment though, it would be walking down the aisle. I had been imagining that moment since I was a little girl, and if I could go back to that and relive it every day, I would.
I had always wanted to have an incredibly traditional day. A quintessential country wedding. The weddings I had seen in films like Sense and Sensibility, Pride & Prejudice, and even Four Weddings & A Funeral had always stuck in my mind. Their beautiful country settings with quaint little churches and traditional wedding attire alongside an abundance of flowers. I had been looking for an exclusive use venue that either had its own chapel or a church close by, and I fell in love with the combination of Iscoyd Park & St Mary's Church instantly.
I think there is so much pressure when planning a wedding to try and please everyone. You want to plan a day that everyone will enjoy & you may have pressure from family and friends to do certain things or invite certain people. But in the end, it's your day and the day should be exactly how you want it. Don't be afraid to say no to people's requests if they don't align with what you want. I think your wedding day is one of the days you can be unapologetically selfish. Also, try and savour every single moment together.
