Krystel and Fabrice's wedding is just utterly dreamy - there really are no other words. Their reception looks like something from a fairy story and the couple's real life love story is nothing short of magical either. Rome holds a special place in both of their hearts and it's so lovely that they now share this wonderful city with their children.
The gorgeous reception venue feels like a secret location too, you'd never realise this idyllic green space was so close to the centre of such a bustling city...
Stefano the Photographer: Krystel and Fabrice met in Rome while they were studying, they then moved back together to Paris, and after two children, when they came the time to get married they were immediately drawn to Italy, especially towards Rome, which holds so many memories for them. They came to us with this project, which we were very excited about. They chose a venue in the middle of « Via Appia Antica » the oldest street in Rome, the venue had a
large garden with Roman ruins in the middle of it. They flew in 80 of their closest family and friends, to be by their side on this beautiful day. They welcomed their guests with a cocktail at Casina Valadier, which hold probably one of the best views of Rome. The next day their ceremony was held at the Roman town hall, a beuatiful histoic building in the middle of « Piazza del Campidoglio », followed by a traditional Italian dinner under the stars in Vigna San Sebastiano.
From The Couple: We met in Rome in 1999 while we were studying alla Lluiss in Erasmus in Rome. Rome is also where Fabrice proposed to me, alla Villa Medici...Fabrice is very romantic. We were friends for a very long time before falling in love. Now we have 2 charming and adorable kids, Maxime (8) and Chiara (5). Fabrice is a bit shy, I (Krystel) am very emotional and I am afraid I will cry all the time and be awful at the wedding (becoming red and feel hot...) but we truly had the best day ever. Italy is a big part of our love story because that's where we met...and we try to go there every year!
