Naomi & James' wedding at Kirtlington Park House is fit for royalty! Inspired by the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge's wedding, the couple chose classic florals, a Pronovias princess wedding dress and to arrive in style in a Rolls Royce wedding car. It's simply gorgeous! Captured by Recommended photographer, Suzy Elizabeth Photography, this day looks like it belongs in the pages of a fairytale book. Plus, this couple used Recommended supplier, The Wedding Shop for their gift list.
Our venue gave us a list of recommended suppliers which helped make our decisions. We searched through Rock My Wedding's Recommended suppliers and found Instagram very useful. But our advice would be to hire a wedding planner if you can afford to! We didn’t as Naomi wanted full control but we soon realised that a planner would have been crucial in saving time and money! A planner would have been able to take a lot of pressure off and negotiate on our behalf. Secondly, hold your ceremony as early as you can. Ours started at 2 pm, and the day went too fast. We would have liked more time to mingle with our guests at the champagne reception.

Naomi had a vision as she wanted her wedding to emulate William and Kates's royal wedding. She wanted to look and feel like a princess. The bride got ready with her mum and bridesmaids at Kirtlington Park in the Oxfordshire countryside. This grand country house was the perfect start to the day with its big rooms and stunning architecture. Naomi chose a Pronovias princess dress that she looked amazing in! The wedding ceremony, took place at The Oxford Oratory, in the heart of Oxford. Naomi arrived in a classic Rolls Royce with her dad and made her way into the most epic of ceremony venues. The church was grand and elegant and after, guests made their way back to Kirtlington Park on red double-decker buses! As a fun extra, their cake topper was used by Naomi’s parents at their wedding 35 years before.
The vibe Naomi & James chose was traditional regal elegance. Their colour scheme was white and gold with touches of pink. The couple took a lot of inspiration from past royal weddings with traditional decor and beautiful floral displays, which made for a really classic and elegant look. The wedding favours were gin bottles with caricature drawings of the happy couple! Kirtlington Park is perfect for couple portraits with the front of the house and its grand architecture, as well as the beautiful staircase at the back of the house. Naomi & James were surprised with a lip-sync video created by guests who couldn't make the wedding day. An electric violinist walked around playing music and was wonderful entertainment for the guests who had travelled from as far as Australia, Canada, & the USA, to experience the day.
Naomi: My favourite moment was being driven to/from the church in a 1937 Classic Rolls Royce. Growing up I would always get goosebumps when I saw a bride in her wedding car. Being the bride was no different! To have an intimate time with my father and then my new husband was incredible and a moment I will always treasure. I felt like a princess, members of the public were waving, beeping their horns and wishing me good luck.
James: My favourite moment was seeing Naomi walk down the aisle. She looked absolutely stunning and she brought a tear to my eye.
