Going for an old Hollywood glam vibe throughout their wedding, Jess & Tom wanted to tailor their day down to the smallest detail, so found a venue that allowed for total flexibility. And, even though the weather wasn’t totally on their side, it didn’t matter, because their day was totally gorgeous regardless! We absolutely love Jess’s change of dress during the reception, meaning she could dance the night away (even in those delicious platforms).

Lean on your friends and family for help & advice... that's what they're there for! And come up with a plan B as soon as you can, but also try to remain optimistic if you're worried about Covid restrictions.

RECEPTION DRESS

I wanted to feel comfortable and dance freely in the evening, so I wore a short white sequinned dress I've had for a few years, complete with platform shoes for added fun. I'm so glad I did - it really meant I could feel comfortable and let loose after the dinner!

A black tie dress code is always a good idea, and allows for your guests to truly get dressed up on the day!

Our black tie dress code and the picturesque chateau in rural France made the setting quite formal, yet the day felt relatively unplanned, informal and improvised. Things went wrong on the day; the weather, timings were often off... but it really didn't matter because we could feel how happy everyone was to be in a room full of people again - and in France! We wouldn't change a thing.
