A forest elopement to start your day? Yes please! This gorgeous couple were married on the banks of the River Earn in the Scottish Highlands. Due to COVID-19, their original plans could no longer go ahead, so they decided on a smaller ceremony (including Walker - their dog!) With their change in plans, Nicoline & Richard could have the fairytale forest wedding of their dreams. Their rings were designed in the Scottish Celtic Knot style, symbolising the infinite join of two people coming together. Well, we’re not sure there’s anything more perfect than that. Well, apart from Walker’s tartan neckerchief…
We had a micro wedding in a forest in Perthshire - that's pretty unique! No one has been married at this spot yet. Our wedding day was perfect. It was intimate, romantic and relaxed. We got to have a memorable time with a small group of people that really mattered. And, it didn’t rain!Nicoline & Richard
The whole day was perfect! I married my best friend, surrounded by our parents, my best gal, the most unbelievably beautiful river bank, and in a forest with fairy lights dangling from the trees. Such a dream, absolutely beautiful. Many things were only possible because it was a small wedding; The cosy spot in the forest, the big takeout meal at the best place in town, and, we got to be in the moment with EVERYONE that was there. Love isn't postponed. Make it unique. Get creative and personal. Choose a special location! There are no rules with a small wedding.Nicoline & Richard
