This beach wedding Devon is just a colourful feast for the eyes! Wanting to keep things simple and use local suppliers, Lily & Alex also threw themselves into a little DIY for their big day. Going for earthy tones and lots of natural decor, their day was quintessentially who they are as a couple. We absolutely love Lily’s veil! It works perfectly alongside her gown, which was made from her grandmothers and mum’s wedding dress! The day was also captured beautifully by Recommended Supplier Grace Elizabeth photography.
Keep it simple, don’t overthink or sweat the small stuff, and have a good boogie! If you can, have someone close to you lead your ceremony, because it’s just incredible and super personal.

I have so many! One of my favourite moments was my dads speech. At the end everyone got up and joined him in singing “it must be love” complete with trilby hats and sunglasses on - it was ace! Everyone came together and you could really feel the love in the room. It was in that moment I realised how lucky I was to be surrounded by such amazing humans!
The three major projects were everyone coming together to decorate the hall in such a small amount of time and my dad building the bar and ‘false ceiling’ for all the foliage! The second would be Justine making my dress from my grandmother’s/mum’s wedding dress. After all those years tucked away in a box! My third is Grace’s amazing photos and the way she just became part of the family during the day - the party are still talking about the ‘lovely grace’!
We couldn’t have done any of it with out the help of our amazing family and friends!
