Dress
Amelie the Bride: I always had a dress in mind, a ‘creeping’ lace illusion dress but everyone I tired just wasn’t ‘the one’.
Pronovias were great at helping me add sleeves and adjust the main body of the dress to achieve the desired look.
Venue
We had decided to have a Catholic ceremony in London followed by a marquee in the garden of a family house also in London. We, along with
Peri Peri Events set out to create an English garden wedding, clean whites and silvers to complement the garden in summer. A few geese came to going us for the day also.
Flowers
The flowers were very simple, greenery added to keep the focus on the white fragrant roses. Demur centrepieces of candelabras and crawling flowers with a circular centre piece of hanging flowers. Our florist
Orchids and Roses Floral a bespoke florist in London, did a fantastic job of capturing our desired look for the day.
Decor
- Table plans (cards only), name cards and menus by
Lion Lillies Calligraphy in New York who managed to turn the whole project around in 4 weeks.
- The table plan its self was created by my mother using a picture frame screen, a lot of ‘attempts’ and patience to get the desired effect.
- Moet provided excellent service by delivering 20cl moet bottles a long with individual champagne sippers for all guests to keep them entertained AND hydrated on the journey between church and house.
- Silver balled chargers to tie in with the colour scheme and overall look of the dinner set up were provided by
The Wedding Lounge Ltd, who were incredibly flexible with drop off and pick up times and dates.
