What Made Our Day Unique
Given our cultural backgrounds and the historic richness of the location, we were sure that our event would remain true to us as individuals and as a couple. Unforgettable moments during the event included the private Italian Civil Ceremony held in the original Chapel designed by Michaelangelo; the classic interior was accented with art from the contemporary Florentine street artist, Blub. The Persian/Baha'i Ceremony followed that evening with the sun setting over Florence in the background. Like us, both of these ceremonies combined our own style of modern and traditional.Nassim & Pablo
Inspiration & Styling
We wanted a formal wedding, but we also wanted the vibe to feel authentic and relaxed - not stuffy. We both have a love of film and Pablo is a filmmaker, so classic cinema was a prevalent theme throughout the day. We wanted an atmosphere that fit naturally in the surroundings of the Tuscan hills and the beautiful structure of the Belmond Villa San Michele which was once an old monastery, including a façade designed by Michelangelo and an original Roman road that runs through the property. It was a very special atmosphere that was quintessentially Italian. Every part of the event used a different space on the property. We chose a very clean and simple colour scheme - black, white, and gray, incorporated throughout everything from the invitations, décor, and flowers.Nassim & Pablo
