Everything from start to finish was absolutely no hassle at all. ‘it’s your day, you have it exactly how you want it’ and that’s what we did. Couldn’t have been more helpful, kind or relaxed if they tried. They made what could be an incredibly stressful time, easy. We got married in Larl Barn which is absolutely stunning. We can’t thank all of you at Ghyll Barn enough. Nothing was too much trouble, any queries or minor issues on the day were dealt with instantly and any worry taken off our hands. The venue is just amazing, all of our guests said the same, you have done an incredible job and it’s just the perfect set up for a wedding! We’re just sad it’s all over, wish we could do it again! Thanks for dealing with all our suppliers on the day & for being so responsive and helpful with everything!

So helpful and friendly, nothing was too much to ask. We were married in the little barn, followed by drinks on the terrace and the meal and wedding party in the main barn. We had access from the Friday morning to decorate how we liked, and spent our wedding night in the Helm Hut - the perfect end to the best day. Ghyll Barn is quirky and unique, and our guests haven't stopped talking about what an amazing venue it is. We feel very lucky to have held our special day here.

The private estate is the ideal blend of country charm and contemporary details and facilities, which makes it a heavenly secluded escape with everything you’ll need. The barn is available on an exclusive use basis with a fully licensed bar and seating space for up to 165 guests.

We went to view the stunning venue and fell in love with it and all its quirkiness. The team couldn't do enough for us during our planning process & could recommend lots of local suppliers. We had the most amazing evening celebrating with family & friends. The staff are all fantastic and cannot do enough for you so you can completely relax and enjoy your special day knowing that it's taken care of thank you again so much to all the staff who work so hard to make sure we had the perfect evening.

Such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere
We recently got married at Ghyll Barn and had the most incredible day! The barn is stunning and all the surrounding gardens too! It has such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere which is perfect for your wedding day. Chris and Lisa are amazing and can’t do enough for you , it made the setting up process and planning a really fun and stress free experience. I wish I could do it all again!!! Where do i start with this fantastic venue.
Where do i start with this fantastic venue. When booking our wedding we knew we wanted somewhere private, quirky and somewhere our guests had never been before and then Ghyll Barn popped up! It ticked all the boxes and we were blown away when we first came to visit and could'nt get over all the little features, the disco ball in the toilets, the backdrop made out of old doors, the up cycled mirror plus all the other quirky items with a story to tell.

After searching for the perfect venue to hold our wedding reception, we were so happy when we found Ghyll Barn. Everyone couldn’t have worked any harder to make our day run smoothly. Chris, the owner, was there to meet us when we arrived to set up, and then was available the entirety of the day and evening!We can’t thank Chris enough for everything he did. Lisa (bar) was also amazing and so were all the staff! All our guests had an amazing time and we would recommend Ghyll Barn to anyone!

Our wedding at Ghyll Barn was better than we could have imagined- the perfect day!We were able to design the day to be exactly how we liked. It all felt very personal and unique to what we wanted.
