We just want to say the biggest thank you to you for being with us on our big day. We can’t tell you how incredible you were - your organisation, skill, timing, professionalism, help and support stands out the most from everyone during the day. You were so easy to be around, it felt like you were part of the wedding! The day completely flew by – bits and pieces keep coming back to us and we are so so glad we booked you to be able to look back on all parts of the day. We really felt with you there, that we could just enjoy the day and you just letting us know where we needed to be and when, was perfect. No clock watching or waiting, it was perfect. We are so glad that we found you and that you could help at short notice. The photos have absolutely blown us away, they are a different level to anything we have ever seen before, so professional and incredible quality too. The slideshow you made that tells the story of our day is just fabulous, capturing all those special moments, the looks, the movements, all the parts that just a normal photographer wouldn't have been able to get is mind blowing - Thank you for giving us these wonderful memories that will last forever. We are beyond grateful that we had Jonathan Bickle as our wedding photographer! Having met him at my brother's wedding, we knew right away that we wanted him to capture our special day as well—and he did not disappoint. From the moment we started working with Jonathan, it was clear that his passion for his craft runs deep. He took the time to listen to our requests, focusing on capturing candid and heartfelt moments with our friends and family. The photos are a true reflection of the love and joy we felt throughout the day. What truly set Jonathan apart was his calming and funny demeanor, which made us feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera. Despite the excitement of the day, he had a way of putting us at ease, allowing us to be ourselves and enjoy every moment. His ability to be stealthy throughout the day was remarkable; he managed to capture all the important moments without ever being intrusive. Jonathan has an incredible eye for detail, and the way he documented our wedding is nothing short of magical. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer, and we’re so glad we chose Jonathan to be a part of our day!

Choosing Jonathan to capture our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made. From the beginning, Jonathan was fast in communication, and it was clear that he wanted to get a comprehensive understanding of us as people, as well as the day we were planning, so that his work could be as in-keeping with the theme and our vision as possible. His preparation was very thorough, which was very reassuring. On the day, Jonathan arrived early and stayed late, putting in a real shift to make sure that all of the important moments from the day were captured. He has perfected the ‘fly-on-the-wall’, unintrusive style of photography. This meant that the moments themselves happened totally organically, and this exactly how Jonathan captured them. Nothing felt staged or forced, and this was very important to us. As for Jonathan himself, he was so much more than our wedding photographer. He used his extensive wedding experience to guide us wherever we needed it. He was always incredibly friendly and warm to interact with, and many of our guests, including children, commented on how wonderful he was with them. He helped secure the buttonholes for several of the groomsmen, and the groom. He felt more like a friend or a guest, and this was so special to have. We received the preview shots the week after the wedding, and wow, we’re blown away. Jonathan captured a marvellous silhouette shot of the happy couple which is breathtaking. Even just from these preview shots, we couldn’t be happier with the quality, the style, and the intimacy of the pictures. We’re very much looking forward to seeing the full library. In summary, you shouldn’t hesitate to hire Jonathan for whatever photography needs you have. He will be professional but friendly, unobtrusive but thorough, and a delight to be around at all times.

From our very first chat with Jonathan we knew he'd be the perfect photographer for our wedding. He was fantastic on the day and understood us so well, to the point some of our guests asked if we knew him before. And, on top of all that we received back the most amazing photos of our day. We highly recommend Jonathan to capture all the special moments on the day that you might otherwise miss.

A stunning photographer and a wonderful human being. There will be about fifty thousand seconds on your wedding day. Across a hundred people, that’s a few million moments, from a billion angles, all overlapping and happening at once. And yet somehow to you it will feel as though the whole thing passes in a single click. When it’s over and the guests have gone home, you will be left with the memories you make and the pictures you take and sadly, not much else. Looking back on our wedding I realise now that more important than the choice of cake or suit or even dress was the choice of who we would ask to weave his way through this mess of a trillion moments and drag the best bits back into forever. Jonathan was phenomenal. Of course he got the first dance. Of course he got the kiss. Any decent photographer can get a good line-up and force a few ‘candids’ but Jonathan was different; he was like the air itself. He was everywhere yet nowhere, like some kind of omniscient being, emerging where the most joy, the most laughter, the most love was, to seize that one beautiful shot from the perfect angle then dissolve into the background and reappear elsewhere. The toppling jenga, my niece mooning us with her nappy, the heads thrown back in laughter at some now forgotten joke: these are the moments we’ll return to over and over when we think of our wedding day. Jonathan also gave me the last photo of myself, my Dad and my Grandad together, not long before we lost them both. And after he heard the news, he printed and framed a copy and sent it to me with condolences, which was such a lovely touch. That photo alone would have been worth the fee. And on top of all this talent, skill and hard work, he is a deeply kind soul. He was so charming and personable at our small Covid wedding that when he returned the following year for the belated celebration (he bent over backwards to accommodate this), it felt like seeing an old friend. I’m only sorry it took me so long to write this review and give him the justice he deserves. So, if you’re reading this, please, don’t leave the lens in lesser hands. Let Jonathan take care of it.

It was an impossible task choosing just a few favourites to post alongside this review, and there are so, so many more that I could have picked. Jonathan is utterly and completely amazing. His photography style immediately drew my attention as I love noticing the small intimate moments between people, be it a touch of hands, a loving glance or somebody doing something goofy. Jonathan captures these with ease. He is somehow able to be everywhere at once, noticing everything. He also does this completely unobtrusively. I kept referring to him as a ninja, as you could blink and he would suddenly be on the other side of the room, or blending in so entirely. In the lead up to the day Jonathans phone calls were so helpful, he offered advice on timings, weather and was really detailed in his planning. He listens carefully to not just what you want, but who you are and what is important to you and ensures you have thought about everything in advance so that there is nothing you feel has been missed - and he missed nothing! He really captures the essence of the day. Not only is he super talented behind the camera and amazing at his editing (our autumnal colours looked stunning!) but he is effortlessly calm, kind and passionate. We rightfully trusted him completely. Myself and my husband are not at all comfortable in front of the camera and somehow we managed to completely forget there was one in front of us. I could go on, but in short, if you are looking for someone to capture what is important you and find all the small and big joys in your day, Jonathan is your guy. He is a true professional and he is absolutely fantastic.

We cannot thank Jonathan enough for our wedding photos. From the first time we spoke to him he put us completely at ease and his style matched exactly what we wanted. On the day itself, Jonathan was amazing- he helped rally our guests for a couple of key shots we wanted, and the rest of the time felt like he was one of our guests and made everyone completely relax. Then when we got the photos back we were even more thrilled, from the preview within a week, to getting the full set. All our friends and family love the photos and we’re still struggling to decide which ones to put up as we love them all. We’d highly recommend Jonathan for anyone wanting a laid back style to capture their day perfectly.

We cannot begin to thank Jonathan enough for all that he did for our wedding. From the moment we spoke on Zoom up until the day we received our album, we could not have asked for a better photographer. We found him to be very professional and friendly throughout the process. As two individuals who find it awkward in front of the camera, we found Jonathan to be very calming and instantly put us ease. From the kids playing in the garden to the dodgy dancing and surprise Bridesmaid shots in the evening. He captured all the tears and laughs and got some captivating and natural shots that we will treasure forever. He was so much fun to have around and he received tons of praise from all our guests. His style of photography and suggestions for our album were perfect for telling the real story of the day. We simply cannot recommend him enough, he made the whole experience feel seamless from start to finish and is a genuinely lovely guy.

onathan was the photographer at our wedding back in July this year and from start to finish the service and quality of photos were amazing. He has a true passion for photography and had a very calming personality which put us at ease through the day. Jonathan captured some great moments without having an over the top presence , he blended in with all the guests. The option for a pre wedding shoot gave us an opportunity to see what was to come and for Jonathan to get to know us. The photos were amazing and was money well spent to capture our special day. We can't thank Jonathan enough for capturing our special moments over the past 12 months, from our engagement shoot last year to our wedding in summer 2023 and everything in between.
