This stunning `Watermouth Cove wedding is seriously one to see (even if you’ve never thought of yourself as much of a beach gurl *Nadine Coyle voice*…) Lucy & Steve settled upon this gorgeous location after several holidays and one engagement (their own, of course). Their wedding took place over two days, and guests arrived early for food and drinks, which started their celebrations. They wanted a relaxed and intimate vibe; like sitting beside a campfire with your closest family and friends listening to acoustic music. Their beautiful day was captured by Recommended Supplier, Grace Elizabeth Photography, and the photos really do speak for themselves!
Zoe and Georgia (Watermouth) stole the show. We bought our wedding forward by a year when Lucy's Dad received a terminal diagnosis. He very sadly didn't make it to the wedding, but they were a huge support throughout his illness. Both personally and with wedding planning. They are amazing people who go above and beyond in all aspects of their business. Incredible people who deserve every bit of success. Special mention also has to go to Grace Elizabeth Photography! We’ve had so many comments saying 'the best wedding photos I've ever seen' and they're not wrong. Unbelievable talent.

Watermouth Cove is a beautiful venue that holds a special place in Lucy & Steve’s hearts as they were engaged there on the last weekend before it became a full-time wedding venue. Having the space for two nights meant they were able to share a weekend with their nearest and dearest. Opting for a weekend wedding is a great way to extend celebrations and spend more time with those around you, as the day itself can go by so quickly! Lucy & Steve’s guests said it was unlike any wedding they had been to before and it felt like they were abroad (check out that sunshine!)
Emily & Steve wanted a relaxed and intimate vibe. Their inspiration came from their time spent in Devon and their love of nature and adventures. Their tables were named after some of their favourite places in the U.K. they have visited together, from small towns in the Scottish Highlands to forests and beaches close to their home in the New Forest. The table signs were made by them at home, using locally sourced log slices, so there was plenty of love and thought poured into everything throughout their day!
Don't overthink things. Great suppliers will make all the difference and ensure your day runs smoothly, so trust them (they're experts!) and try to enjoy the process, have fun, and don't worry about what you think you should do - make it the day you both want it to be!
