What Made Your Day Unique
We kept our day very true to us as a couple. We wanted the day to be relaxed and fun, for us and our guests. Yes, there were some traditional elements, but we feel like we did our wedding day our own way! We opened the bar before the ceremony, we made charity donations for our wedding favours, we swapped wedding cake for pizza, we had both Father of the Bride and Father of the Groom give speeches, we had our confetti shower during the first dance...Laura & James
Inspiration
We wanted a simple barn typesetting and our wedding to be casual and fun. The venue itself helped to inspire a theme in more detail though. We loved The Normans straight away - a simply stunning venue. We knew we could do as much or as little to it as we liked, and it would still work. We let the rustic feel to carry through and mixed this with lots of green foliage. Ivy was already a strong feature of the venue courtyard. We kept the colours to a minimum - dark green, adding a copper finish here and there, white/grey blending it all in.Laura & James
