Leanne & Ben
The original vibe for Leanne & Ben's wedding was elegant and timeless and they hoped to bring together the best of both American and British wedding traditions. Through key styling elements and flowers and foliage including eucalyptus, roses, orchids, and proteas, the colour palette consisted of greens, whites, and golds. After the covid postponements, the day evolved and became focused on fun and togetherness. The sense of fun was in all the details from the 'Find Your Party Animal' escort cards, magician, glitter bar and showgirls!
Leanne chose a strapless mermaid wedding dress from Pronovias. She paired it with a statement veil to match the dramatic train. Leanne chose oversized teardrop pearl earrings and multiple rings to give a glam vibe to her style. The bridal party were equally glam in different hues of gold champagne bridesmaid dresses. The bouquets included King Proteas to represent where the couple got engaged. A real-life butterfly landed on the stationery flat lay that was styled on the day, adding that extra touch of magic and echoing the butterfly postal stamps.
For Leanne & Ben, FAMILY was at the heart of all their plans. As Ben is from England and Leanne is from the US, none of their family had met in real life. It made sense for them to choose a multi-day celebration starting off in Bath a few days before the wedding. They all wanted to spend some quality time ahead of the big day. The day before the wedding, Leanne had a spa day at the Guerlain with her bridal party while Ben hit the links at The Manor House golf course. With so much importance on family time The Manor House, Castle Combe, country house wedding venue was a perfect choice with all it has to offer!
It’s impossible to pick just one favourite moment. From the peace of the morning getting ready with the most important women in my life, to walking down the aisle to see Ben there waiting for me, or celebrating until the sun was coming up, it was perfect. There was a distinct moment during our ceremony where it felt like time was standing still, I couldn’t stop smiling with the feeling of pure joy, unconditional love, and a grounding presence that reassured me that everything in the world was exactly how it was meant to be.
