The Great Tythe Barn Wedding With Two Brides

When one of the brides is a DJ you know the wedding entertainment is going to be on point...and this celebration at The Great Tythe Barn did not disappoint. With 6 DJ sets (and a surprise appearance from the brides!), a glitter ball booth, DIY decor and hand-designed stationery, we love every single detail! But it doesn't stop there, we are spoiling you with not one, but two amazing brides. Both opting for two totally different dresses but both looking equally incredible! And can we just take a moment to appreciate that tassel bunting because that's a DIY project that took over 3 weeks, but boy was it worth it!

After our day was postponed 3 times due to Covid, we just knew when the day would finally come around, it would be everything we imagined and more. We really wanted our personalities, and who we are as a couple, to shine through. We spent weeks handcrafting tassel bunting, created our own stationery designs, and worked with friends to create the dreamiest centre backdrop. Amy is a DJ, so music was super important to us too! During our wedding party, we ended up having 6 different DJs, including a surprise set from us, the Brides!

I would say our day was modern, boho & vibrant. We just wanted to pull all of our favourite styles/inspo together to create something unique to us. Our favourite moment was our drinks reception. We were able to hug and see all of our friends & family all in one place together, finally, after waiting 18 months for our wedding to go ahead.

Prezola Gift List at Lesbian Wedding

We spent months trying to find a totally unique DJ booth for our reception at The Great Tythe Barn. We had planned for our closest friends to DJ in the evening, playing all of our favourite genres of music, so we knew we had to have an awesome setup, which we did, with half a disco ball being the DJ booth. Tash also sat and handmade all of the tassel buntings that hung throughout our venue. It was a total of 20 meters and took over 3 weeks, but it was totally worth it once they were up hanging in our venue.
