So you've got your dress, your shoes and your florals, but we're here to tell you that sequin wedding jackets are the one thing you're missing. Yes, just hear us out... We know that a bridal cover up can be the cherry on top of the wedding outfit cake. So what better way to cover up than to put on something as incredible as your dress! Although it seem difficult to top Sarah's sparkling silver gown or Char's short sixties number, the rainbow sequin wedding jackets are kind of a vibe. Like, a really good one. In fact, this shoot at The Courtyard Brewery in Manchester is bursting with good vibes, and colourful ones at that, and was all captured on film by Recommended supplier Electric Reel Creative. So settle in, and let the neon lights bathe you in their warm glow as you enjoy the love, laughter and *that* cathedral veil...
As this is a new wedding venue, I wanted to showcase the venue as a potential alternative venue for couples who want to have a nontraditional celebration of their love. Who are not afraid of bold colours and funky neons and would-do away with stuffy wedding traditions. But also embracing their own personalities by making it fun and personal to the couple! I specifically wanted vibrant blues and otherworldly pink florals for the tablescape and for the floral backdrop to go with the neon sign, bridal accessories, sequin wedding jackets and our wedding cake!

The two very different dresses were provided by Rose Savage Bridal for this shoot and I love how the dresses accentuates each bride's special features. The shorter 60's inspired mini shift dress looked so badass on Sarah, paired with the breath-taking sparkly ruffled cathedral veil, this along with her tattoos on show is just a perfect match! The neon coloured headband on Char adds eclectic style on to the sequined long dress. To keep our couple warm we also had matching Love Rocks sequin wedding jackets from Niamh Designs, because why not? We just wanted to be extra AF.
We also had newspaper prints for Sarah & Char's big day from Photopress UK and I feel that it adds to the fun and alternative vibe. You will also notice our amazing vintage rings of different gemstones, as we want to do-away with traditions. We didn't think that boring wedding rings would do- we just had to go extra and brought in the Amethyst and Green Sapphire rings from London Victorian Ring Co. Our real model couple Char and Sarah were also celebrating their one year anniversary of dating that same week after meeting on ITV's The Cabins!
The Courtyard Brewery is a working microbrewery/pub hidden in a small town in Oldham, Greater Manchester. I love the bare industrial brick walls juxtaposed with the warm wooden panels occupying the ceiling, it also gives off a unpretentious but cool vibe. We also used the exteriors of the venue which adds to the industrial style.
