Emma & Greg's Pythouse Kitchen Garden wedding is beautiful! It is full of gorgeous tropical flowers and pampas grass, which looks so good against the black-tie dress code. Emma & Greg only had 5 months to plan their wedding and loved having a shorter engagement. They both said that it made all their decisions easier as they had to go with who was available on the day. The whole day was about good food, spending time with loved ones and having a blast, which is absolutely the best kind of wedding! Emma & Greg chose Recommended supplier, Prezola, for their gift list!
The ceremony was more than we could have ever hoped for. Rosina made it so personal and told our love story in such a lovely way, all of our guests commented on how great she was. The band were also amazing! We loved that everyone was on the dance floor all night!
Emma & Greg
Emma & Greg wanted to ensure their day felt relaxed, personal and fun! Emma got a lot of inspiration whilst living in Australia, so you'll find that their wedding is full of pampas grass, tropical flowers, and boho vibes! So whilst the sunny weather couldn't be guaranteed, they both loved recreating the Aussie vibes for their English country garden wedding. Emma & Greg also chose a humanist celebrant so that they could share their love story with all their friends and family. They wanted their whole day at Pythouse Kitchen Garden to feel really personal. The couple had Maybe by Anon for their wedding reading, which is a really popular choice!
The couple said that if you can avoid a long engagement, just get on with it! Whilst planning is fun, they were both so glad they didn’t have too much time to overthink things or change their minds on anything. A good tip they have is to print off a schedule in advance and hand it over to your trusted bridesmaids/groomsmen. This way you can relax and they can keep on top of anything that needs managing throughout the day. Instead of providing desserts for everyone, the couple recommend saving some money and using your wedding cake as pudding! They said the whole thing was eaten - we can't blame them it looks delicious!
Our photographers, The Shannons, also made the day go incredibly smoothly and captured everything so perfectly - they were in the background and not in your face which was perfect given we wanted our photos to look as natural as possible.
