A crown fit for a queen, a blooming red bridal bouquet and the most stunning pearl wedding dress we ever did see! Megan was killing the bride game for her autumnal wedding to Kyle at Recommended venue Hazel Gap Barn. It's time to snuggle up, as their day has brought a whole new meaning to a cosy wedding. The vaulted red brick barn and exposed beams were romantically lit with candles and fairy lights as they twirled the night away. They used Recommended gift list Prezola for their big day, and it was all caught on camera by Recommended photographer Maddie Farris. We can promise you do not want to miss the shots of the beautiful dress! We know there is a line between fine art and wedding gowns but we can't seem to find it here? However, we're pretty happy lost in the sequins, pearls and tulle... we'll be back out when we've stopped fawning over it. It may be a while...
You know that feeling when Autumn has arrived? The weather is crisp and cold but inside it's warm and cosy. Well that's the vibe we wanted to achieve for our day. We wanted a day that was intimate, relaxed and full of warmth. Filled with candlelight, fire pits, fluffy blankets, toasted marshmallows and sparklers!Megan & Kyle
From a string quartet to Muse, these two spanned a whole range of genres for the soundtrack to their day. Megan walked down the aisle to 'Can't Help Falling in Love' by Andre Rieu and Johann Strauss Orchestra. Smile on her face, bouquet in hand and pearl wedding dress sparkling... we're tearing up just talking about it! Their exit song was 'You Make My Dreams (Come True)' by Daryll Hall & John Oates, and reception entrance was 'Jump' by Van Halen. Talk about getting the party started... Their first dance song was an acoustic version of 'Something Human' by Muse, and after looking at the shots of them twirling about the flagstone floor, it's going straight on our wedding playlist. If you have a free minute, or hour, or more, we suggest popping in your headphones and imagining that pearl wedding dress having its moment!
We know we sort of mentioned this in the introduction, but have you seen this pearl wedding dress? Enchanting in the candle light, this coloured wedding gown is the star of the wedding's cosy autumnal vibe. It wasn't just Megan who nailed the outfit game though...A special shout out to Kyle's floral tie and pocket square which is giving us all the William Morris vibes we didn't know we needed. Not to mention the dapper checked three-piece suit that is proof tweed is always a good idea! We've also had our head completely turned by all the ribbons. From bouquets to hair, they brought a warmth that was the perfect addition to this autumnal affair. Also - the bridal crown! Glorious. There are more words, but just take a look. It's pretty enough to speak for itself...
I was on Rock My Wedding everyday looking for inspiration and suppliers! The Recommended suppliers feature really helped with all of the planning.Megan & Kyle
