Steph & Lukas said their I-do's at the incredible Nancarrow Farm in Cornwall. The couple both run restaurants and that played a huge part in making their day unique - it was so important to them that the day represented hospitality and how you'd feel if you went to their house! We really wanted our day to be chilled and casual, and to create a relaxed environment for all our guests, whilst also having a big party vibe! With families from different countries, we wanted everyone to feel at home and comfortable to make sure they enjoyed the day.

Wedding at Nancarrow Farm in Cornwall

Steph & Lukas wanted their styling to feel like warmth and sunshine! They took a lot of inspiration for their own home decor (which is full of golden light and orange tones) and their travels around the world and all the sunsets and sunrises they saw. They chose to decorate the venue with wild florals and a palette of oranges and dusky pinks. Those colours are just the perfect accent to the rustic barn setting. But as Steph said, 'Having the perfect candle holders won't impact your enjoyment of the day, and nobody else will notice!' Steph & Lukas said they couldn't have had a better experience elsewhere than with Nancarrow Farm in Cornwall!

Food & Entertainment

Steph & Lukas' main focus was incredible food and plenty of it! Lukas is Czech and the couple wanted to incorporate his home into the menu. Nancarrow Farm in Cornwall included Czech beef tartare with fried bread and garlic...yum! They also had happy hour at Margaritaville after dinner. Steph's mum had spent months learning Czech in secret so that she could deliver her speech in both languages. The bilingual speeches took far longer than anticipated and Nancarrow Farm reorganised the timings of the rest of the day without the couple worrying about a thing.

Reflect your culture and background in your wedding food! It could also be something from your travels or childhood...

Our favourite moment of the day was when we got back to the drinks reception from having couple portraits taken and Steph was taking a full group shot. The DJ and Sax duo spotted an opportunity for a final song with everyone in one place, they played Jubel by Klingande (one of our fave songs) and it was just THE most incredible moment. We all danced outside in one huge group, and it felt like we were at an Ibiza beach club - which is exactly the vibe we were going for - it was perfection and one of those incredible life moments that will stay with us forever!
