We wanted to create inspiration for the modern bride looking to plan a high end, luxe wedding. It was consciously styled with attention to detail. Choosing creams, beiges and warm tones, such as toffees and soft nudes, to complement the stunning brickwork. Spreading our inspiration across the entire day, from the ceremony to the first dance.Cara Zagni Photography
The florals needed to be all the best bits of modern and boho styling. With everything being neutral-toned and subtle, this had to be all about texture. The brief included lots of natural grasses and fabulous silhouettes, so I created displays using a mixture of fresh and dried elements with contrasting forms – feathery pampas, graphic teasles, twisted willow and frilly caramel-toned garden roses, including Toffee, Earl Grey and my absolute favourite nude rose, Westminster Abbey.
The addition of florals such as orchids and dark-toned twisting fritillarias elevated the look, giving the overall feel a luxe edge. A statement sculptural ceremony piece climbed up the huge window of Pentney Abbey, created with twisted willow, grasses, draping dried amaranthus and lots of beautiful fresh blooms which perfectly complemented the colours of the room. Teasles looked fabulous as structural floor standing pew end pieces – such a simple and budget-friendly option, but super striking as silhouettes against the pale backdrop of MiaSylvia’s fabric installation!
