Living in Australia but deciding they wanted to marry in England, Laura and Nathan found their perfect venue at Millbridge Court. Having first met at the Singapore Grand Prix, they captured their love of F1 (and their unique ‘meet cute’ story) through their table names; naming each one after a race track! Inspired by Autumnal colours and Millbridge Courts’ rustic vibe, the couple chose to style their venue with big floral displays featuring burnt oranges and deep reds, whilst the bridesmaid's dresses were burgundy - a perfect contrast against Laura’s white gown. Their evening including a few Australian traditions, such as the bride and groom dancing into the speeches, and their last dance being surrounded by all their friends and family in a circle! We also can’t get enough of their golden hour photoshoot - that right there is serious post-wedding picture goals…
What Made Our Day Unique
It may sound cliché, but we wanted our day to be about us and unique to our love story – a British girl who met an Aussie guy at the Singapore Grand Prix. We used the colours of autumn and leant on the rustic feel of the venue to create something unique to us. We let our creativity flow throughout our stationery, with wooden textures, autumnal flowers and captured our F1 love story with race tracks for table names – the top table was Marina Bay, Singapore, and the rest were race tracks from our home countries and ones we’d visited together.Laura & Nathan
This beautifully rustic venue can be found tucked away in Surrey. Surrounded by stunning scenery and lush gardens, Laura and Nathan fell in love instantly. Planning a wedding from another country is not easy! But thanks to the venues team of experts and their in-house recommended suppliers, the couple were able to plan their day with as little stress as possible. Along with their Autumnal theme, the reception room lent itself perfectly to their chosen colours and accents of wood throughout.
