Debbie & Kerrim’s gospel choir wedding is about to have you out of your seat and onto the dance floor! If you’re looking for quintessentially English and a wedding straight out of a Richard Curtis movie, you’ve come to the right place. Wanting their florals to embody British wild garden flowers, and photos with a ‘fine art editorial style’, they have truly captured the essence of a beautiful country wedding day. Of course, each aspect was perfectly captured by Recommended Suppliers, Jo Bradbury Wedding Photographer.
We wanted a relaxed garden party vibe. A time for family and friends to come together after being apart for so long. The inspiration behind the styling was natural, delicate and loosely French inspired.

We were married when COVID restrictions meant guest numbers were limited. We were never planning a big wedding anyway! So having just our closet family and friends present meant the day was very intimate, uplifting and joyful. If we could do it all again we wouldn't change a thing. It was amazing to have a day where everyone could forget about what was going on in the world and have a good time. The sun shone all day. After such a long time apart it was lovely to dance in the garden to the Big Gospel Choir.
A gospel choir was something that both of us wanted for our wedding. The Big Gospel Choir certainly got the party started with their modern twist and were insanely good. Jo Bradbury captured our day perfectly! We wanted the photos to be more 'fine art editorial style' and this is what was achieved. For flowers British wild garden flowers was the theme. Our flowers from Cotswold Country Flowers were all grown at her own flower farm and were in season for that time of year, meaning that the flowers were bright, colourful and unique.
Debbie and Kerrim's gorgeous June Wedding took place in the stunning village of Bibury in The Cotswolds, there were still Covid Restrictions in place at that time, so a limit on the number of guests and no indoor partying. Despite this, the glorious sun shone whilst the intimate gathering assembled in the private garden at The Swan at Bibury listening to the beautiful tones of The Big Gospel Choir. Onlookers gathered around the garden walls to enjoy the live music, something we had all missed for far too long.
