Christmas Church Wedding Flowers

Photography by Nicola Streader Photography

It's Christmas. You expect Christmas trees. What you don't necessarily expect is Christmas church wedding flowers that can outshine the sparkliest (it's a word) of trees. But they did it. Sophie and Graeme filled their church with the most incredible blooms. And those pops of blue in Sophie's bouquet? What a way to wear your something blue. There are kilts, kissing, and did we mention the flowers yet?

We had always intended on a winter wedding, for all of its seasonal fun and festivities that time of year brings. Nestled in an old Hampshire village, our flower theme was a magical winter garden, providing an abundance of warmth and character. We were wrapped in love and laughter throughout the day, only focused on enjoying the celebrations with our close family.

Christmas church wedding flowers & favourite moments

Without doubt the service was our favourite moment of the day. We chose the church due to family history and connection, so we were lucky to have a Reverend we knew well. While we couldn't sing hymns, we still selected music and readings that amplified the atmosphere to fill the whole church.

Our advice to couples planning their wedding would be, don't lose sight of what's most important on the day - you and your union. Plus, remember your guests will always have fun no matter the setting as long as you're having a good time.

Rock My Wedding provided us with lots of inspiration. We're quite a decisive couple so as we had such a clear vision for our wedding, where we felt a connection with a supplier we engaged with them quickly.

I found selecting a wedding dress particularly difficult as I am very picky! I was so lucky to work with an amazing seamstress who brought my dress of dreams to life.

It would be impossible to select a favourite supplier.

It would simply be impossible to select one supplier, we love them all and can't thank them enough for their flexibility and hard work in making our day so incredible.

Wasn't that good? We've heard so many great stories of suppliers and couples working together over the last 12 months to make dreams a reality and Sophie and Graeme's connection with their suppliers was no exception. Sophie said she struggled to find the perfect dress so she just went ahead and designed her own. Incredible! If you're planning on having immense Christmas church wedding flowers, or need to start booking the professionals that will make your day come to life, check out our list of Recommended Suppliers.
